OPERATION AND USE
Within three seconds from the power-up the display
illuminates a dash (self-check phase).
The following indications depend on the operating
status of the control unit and from the menu level
activated by the operator
D
1. STANDBY. Pressing button ‘D’ allows you to put
the cabinet on standby, this then excludes all
outputs with the exception of the lighting control
(either manual or door controlled). ‘OFF’ is then
displayed on the controller. When working on the
cabinet, always unplug the unit from the socket or
isolate from mains prior to starting work on the unit.
2. NORMAL. During normal operation, the display
shows the internal air temperature
3. DEFROST. If the control unit is performing
defrost, dEF will be shown on the display.
The unit will have a defrost period every 12 (C-units)
or 6 (M and F-units) hours.

4. MANUAL DEFROST. In the scenario that a door
has been left open and the evaporator coil has iced
up and manual defrost can be initiated. This can be
started from the info menu by selecting dF by
pressing button “A” first and then “A” and “C”
simultaneously. Text dEF will be shown on the
display. Manual defrost resets the defrost counter,
and the unit continues to operate automatically
after manual defrost.
EVAPORATION OF CONDENSATE WATER
The water developed during defrosting is led to the
condensate tray where the water evaporates
automatically.

5. ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE. Temperature
setpoint can be checked by pressing button “B”.
If higher temperature is required, keep button “B”
pressed and simultaneously press the button “C”.
If lower temperature is required, keep button “B”
pressed and simultaneously press the button “D”.
