07:45–08:15 Flag ceremony initiates the inauguration<br />
For the first time in Eurovision Song Contest’s history, the inauguration is initiated<br />
by a flag ceremony. Come watch when the 42 competing nations’ flags are raised in<br />
front of the EuroClub in a celebration of the “Come together” theme. Soldiers from<br />
the Swedish Life Guards will raise the flags and the Royal Swedish army band performs.<br />
By the EuroClub on Skeppsbron in front of the Royal Palace.<br />
From 19:00<br />
The participants walk the red carpet<br />
Artists and musicians will walk the red carpet in front of the EuroClub before attending<br />
the official opening ceremony at the Stockholm City Hall. On the red carpet<br />
they will pose for photos and TV-crews and also give short interviews.<br />
By the EuroClub on Skeppsbron in front of the Royal Palace.<br />
