Day 1 - 16th November:<br />

Bangalore<br />

Arrive in the IT capital and food<br />

bowl capital of <strong>India</strong>; Bangalore.<br />

Welcome at the airport and<br />

transfer to the hotel.<br />

Overnight –Bangalore<br />

Day 2 - 17th November:<br />

Bangalore<br />

After Breakfast, proceed for guided sightseeing<br />

including: Vidhana Soudha, the State Legislative and<br />

Secretariat House, Lalbagh Gardens, Bull Temple -<br />

Built for Nandi, the sacred Bull, the vehicle of Lord<br />

Shiva. Also visit Tipu’s Palace, the summer residence<br />

of ruler Tipu Sultan and a blend of Indo-Islamic<br />

architecture. Hyder Ali began its construction within<br />

the walls of the Bangalore Fort and was completed<br />

during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1791. It’s now one<br />

of the most visited places of Bangalore city.<br />

Day 3 - 18th November:<br />

Bangalore<br />

Day free for sight seeing.<br />

Evening transfer to the theatre<br />

for the first performance of<br />

<strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong>. Enjoy post show drinks<br />

with members of the cast and return<br />

to hotel.<br />

Day 2 - 17th November:<br />

Bangalore - Chennai<br />

After breakfast, travel by bus to Chennai.<br />

Evening transfer to the Music Academy<br />

for performance of <strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong>. Possible<br />

reception or post show drinks and<br />

coach transfer back to the hotel.<br />

Overnight –Chennai<br />

Day 3 - 18th November:<br />

Chennai<br />

After breakfast proceed for guided<br />

sightseeing of Chennai – visit<br />

Kapaleeshwar Temple, Santhome<br />

Cathedral, Parthsarthy Temple, Marina<br />

Beach and National Art Gallery.<br />

Day 4 - 19th November<br />

Chennai - Vishakhapatnam<br />

Depart Chennai and enter the mysticism<br />

of Vizag (Vishakhapatnam) and Andhra<br />

Pradesh. Arrive and transfer to the<br />

hotel.<br />

time with the creators, performers<br />

and crew of <strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong>.<br />

Vishakhapatnam- Hyderabad<br />

Take the short flight to Hyderabad<br />

and enter a different <strong>India</strong>. Arrive and<br />

transfer to the hotel.<br />

Day 9 - 24th November<br />

Hyderabad<br />

After breakfast, Guided sightseeing of<br />

Hyderabad.<br />

Visit The Charminar: Built in 1591 CE.<br />

This is a monument and mosque located<br />

in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, <strong>India</strong>.<br />

The landmark has become a global icon<br />

of Hyderabad, listed among the most<br />

recognized structures of <strong>India</strong>. The<br />

Charminar is on the east bank of Musi<br />

river. To the northeast lies the Laad<br />

Bazaar and in the west end lies the granitemade<br />

richly ornamented Makkah Masjid.<br />

Visit Mecca Masjid: also Makkah: One<br />

of the largest Mosques in <strong>India</strong> and one<br />

of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad,<br />

Andhra Pradesh, <strong>India</strong>. Makkah Masjid is<br />

a listed heritage building in the old city of<br />

Hyderabad, close to the historic landmarks<br />

of Chowmahalla Palace, Laad Bazaar, and<br />

Charminar.<br />

Visit Salar Jung Museum: an art museum<br />

located at Darushifa, on the southern bank<br />

of the Musi river in the city of Hyderabad,<br />

Andhra Pradesh, <strong>India</strong>. It is one of the<br />

three National Museums of <strong>India</strong>. It has a<br />

collection of sculptures, paintings, carvings,<br />

textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic<br />

artefacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture<br />

from Japan, <strong>Chi</strong>na, Burma, Nepal, <strong>India</strong>,<br />

Persia, Egypt, Europe, and North America.<br />

The museum’s collection was sourced from<br />

the property of the Salar Jung family.<br />

Chowmahalla Palace or Chowmahallat<br />

(4 Palaces), was a palace belonging to the<br />

Nizams of Hyderabad state. It was the


seat of the Asaf Jahidynasty and was the<br />

official residence of the Nizam. In Persian,<br />

‘Chahar’ means four and in Arabic Mahalat<br />

(plural of Mahal) means palaces, hence the<br />

name Chowmahallat or four palaces.<br />

All ceremonial functions including the<br />

accession of the Nizams and receptions<br />

for the Governor-General were held at<br />

this palace. The prestigious UNESCO<br />

Asia Pacific Merit award for cultural<br />

heritage conservation was presented to<br />

Chowmahalla Palace in 2010.<br />

Then visit Golkonda: also known as Golla<br />

konda (shepherd’s hill) a ruined city of<br />

Southern <strong>India</strong> and capital of ancient<br />

Kingdom of Golkonda (c.1518–1687),<br />

situated 11 km west of Hyderabad. It is<br />

also a mandal of Hyderabad District. The<br />

region is universally famous for the mines<br />

that have produced the world’s most<br />

famous and coveted gems, including The<br />

Hope Diamond, Idol’s Eye, The Koh-i-<br />

Noor and Darya-i-Noor.<br />

Evening transfer to the venue for the<br />

<strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong> performance.<br />

Day 12 - 27th November:<br />

Hyderabad –Mumbai<br />

Journey to the north and the metropolis<br />

that is Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and<br />

transfer to hotel.<br />

Day 13 - 28th November:<br />

Mumbai<br />

After breakfast experience Elephanta Caves. This network of sculpted caves<br />

located on Elephanta Island, consists of two groups of caves, the first a large<br />

group of five Hindu caves, the second, a smaller group of two Buddhist caves.<br />

In the afternoon, experience a city tour of Mumbai visiting Gateway of <strong>India</strong>,<br />

Dhobi Ghat, Mani Bhawan, Victoria Terminus & Marine Drive. The rest of the<br />

day is free for individual activities.<br />

Day 14 - 29th November:<br />

Mumbai<br />

Day free for shopping and exploring the<br />

city. Evening transfers to and from the<br />

theatre for <strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong> performance,<br />

and post show reception.<br />

Day 15 - 30th November:<br />

Mumbai - Delhi<br />

Head north to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and<br />

transfer to the hotel.<br />

Day 16 - 1st December:<br />

Delhi<br />

After Breakfast, experience the bustling laneways and bazaars of Old Delhi as we<br />

drive through the old gateways, past the imposing Red Fort, before visiting the<br />

Jama Masjid, <strong>India</strong>’s largest mosque. Ride through Chandni Chowk to Asia’s largest<br />

wholesale spice market on a cycle rickshaw and later visit Raj Ghat.<br />

Later in the afternoon, explore the magnificent World Heritage-listed Qutub Minar<br />

and Humayun’s Tomb - Last refuge of Emperor Humayun’s reminiscent of a luxurious<br />

palace, rather than a Tomb. Enjoy the scenic drive past impressive Government<br />

secretariat buildings and <strong>India</strong> Gate on the way to the performance of <strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong>.<br />

Day 17 - 2nd December:<br />

Delhi - Tijara Fort Palace<br />

After breakfast travel to Tijara Fort Palace<br />

in Alwar, Rajasthan. Once checked in you<br />

can choose to stay and relax at the hotel<br />

or see the local sites.<br />

Day 18 - 3rd December:<br />

Tijara Fort Palace<br />

Day free to stay and relax at the hotel or<br />

explore local sites.<br />

As dusk falls you will be treated to a unique<br />

performance of “elements of <strong>Chi</strong> <strong>Udaka</strong>”<br />

performed across the magnificent Palace.<br />

A moving feast of theatre followed by a<br />

feast fit for royalty.<br />

Overnight – Tijara Fort Palace


Day 19 - 4th December:<br />

Tijara Fort Palace - Delhi<br />

After breakfast return to Delhi to<br />

enjoy the final evening in <strong>India</strong>. Join<br />

the cast and crew to celebrate the<br />

tour and say farewell to <strong>India</strong>.<br />

Day 20 - 5th December:<br />

Delhi<br />

Depart <strong>India</strong>.<br />
