Resum<strong>en</strong><br />

Se estudió mediante medidas <strong>de</strong> fuerzas electromotrices (emf H), la formación <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> complejos<br />

<strong>de</strong> Vanadio(<strong>III</strong>) <strong>con</strong> <strong>los</strong> <strong>ácidos</strong> aminopolicarboxílicos etil<strong>en</strong>diamino-N,N,N’,N’-tetraacetico<br />

(EDTA) y dietil<strong>en</strong>triamina-N,N,N’,N’’,N’’-p<strong>en</strong>taacetico (DTPA) <strong>en</strong> <strong>solución</strong> <strong>acuosa</strong> a 25°C y <strong>en</strong><br />

KCl 3,0 M (M = mol/dm 3 ) como medio iónico. El análisis <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> datos pot<strong>en</strong>ciométricos mediante<br />

el programa computacional <strong>de</strong> mínimos cuadrados g<strong>en</strong>eralizados LETAGROP, indica la formación<br />

<strong>de</strong> cantida<strong>de</strong>s significativas <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> complejos [VHL], [VL] - y [V(OH)L] 2- <strong>con</strong> el EDTA<br />

(Na2H2EDTA, H2L 2- ) y <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> complejos [VH2L], [VHL] - , [VL] 2- y [V(OH)L] 3- <strong>con</strong> el DTPA (DTPA, H5L). Las respectivas <strong>con</strong>stantes <strong>de</strong> estabilidad <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> complejos formados fueron <strong>de</strong>terminadas.<br />

aminopolycarboxylic acids EDTA and DTPA<br />

Abstract<br />

It was studied by means of electromotive forces measurem<strong>en</strong>ts (emf H), the formation of<br />

the Vanadium(<strong>III</strong>) complexes with the aminopolycarboxylic acids ethyl<strong>en</strong>diamine-N,N,N’,N’-tetraacetic<br />

(EDTA) and diethyl<strong>en</strong>triamine-N,N,N’,N’’,N’’-p<strong>en</strong>taacetic (DTPA) in aquous solution at<br />

25°C and in 3.0 M (M = mol/dm 3 ) KCl as ionic media. The analysis of the pot<strong>en</strong>tiometric data by<br />

means of the least-squares computational program LETAGROP, indicates the formation of significant<br />

quantities of the complexes [VHL], [VL] -<br />

and [V(OH)L] 2with<br />

EDTA (Na2H2EDTA, H2L 2-<br />

)<br />

and the complexes [VH2L], [VHL] - , [VL] 2- and [V(OH)L] 3- with DTPA (DTPA, H5L). The respective<br />

stability <strong>con</strong>stants of the complexes formed were <strong>de</strong>termined.<br />
