<strong>Project</strong> <strong>RENEW</strong> (Refugees Entering New Enterprises and Workforce) is a<br />
comprehensive program that provides English for Speakers of Other Languages<br />
(ESOL), continuing education, and vocational/workforce training for eligible<br />
refugees, asylees, Amerasians and victims of human trafficking living in <strong>Broward</strong><br />
County.<br />
Since its inception, <strong>Project</strong> <strong>RENEW</strong> has served students from many nations,<br />
including Cuba, Haiti, Liberia, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Honduras, Russia,<br />
Ukraine, Burma, Iraq, China, Iran, and others.<br />

• General Education Diploma (GED) preparation<br />

Eligibility Requirements<br />
• Asylees of all nationalities<br />
• Refugees of Cuba, Haiti and all nationalities<br />

• Special immigrants from Iraq and Afghanistan<br />
• Lawful permanent residents who adjusted from<br />
prior refugee, entrant, or asylum status<br />
• 18 years old and older<br />
• Residing in <strong>Broward</strong> County<br />
• Registered with an employment provider
