Contract/project title: Genetic variability of Myzus persicae in Murcia<br />

Participating entities: IMIDA<br />

Lenght: November/2005 to December/2005<br />

Main results: Genetic composition of aphid Myzus persicae using microsatellites re-<br />

vealed that adventitious vegetation to greenhouses and Prunus spp.<br />

shown the highest variability and seemed to be a source of potential<br />

crop invaders<br />

Contract/project title: GIS implementation for biological control of pepper crops<br />

Participating entities: IMIDA<br />

Lenght: June/2005 to December/2005<br />

Main results: GIS with information for four years of biological control in peppers<br />

greenhouses were implemented. Farmers, technicians and public enti-<br />

ties have full access to distribution of Frankliniella occidentalis, Orius<br />

spp. and Amblyseius cucumeris in Cartagena<br />

Contract/project title: Introduction of technologies in integrated systems of greenhouse pep-<br />

per. Improve program for the efficiency of agrarian systems<br />

Participating entities: Ministry of Agriculture in Regional Government of Murcia (04PCCCI)<br />

Lenght: May/2004 to May/2005<br />

Main results: An information system for collected information in field were developed.<br />

This system was based on digital collection (using pocket PC plus GPS<br />

technologies) of plague and natural enemies data in pepper crops<br />

Contract/project title: Paternity test in the Murciano-Granadina breed goat<br />

Participating entities: University of Murcia and farmer association of Murciano-Granadina<br />

breed goat (ACRIMUR)<br />

Lenght: January/2002 to December/2003<br />

Main results: 11 microsatellite loci were scored to determine the genotype of male<br />

candidates for inclusion in the Murciano-Granadina breed genealogical<br />

book<br />
