Justificación<br />
Gran extensión <strong>de</strong> pastizal<br />
ubicada en una zona <strong>de</strong> contacto<br />
entre distintos territorios<br />
fitogeográficos, próxima<br />
al sistema Paraná-Paraguay<br />
(importante corredor <strong>de</strong> biodiversidad).<br />
Se <strong>de</strong>staca también<br />
que estos pastizales se<br />
encuentran en el paleoabanico<br />
fluvial <strong>de</strong>l Paraná, que<br />
ha <strong>de</strong>jado una impronta <strong>de</strong><br />
especies <strong>de</strong> linaje fluvial. Las<br />
mismas comparten hoy el territorio<br />
con plantas y animales<br />
<strong>de</strong> sistemas terrestres<br />
como el Chaco Húmedo y el<br />
Espinal. Des<strong>de</strong> el punto <strong>de</strong><br />
vista social, el área ha sido<br />
el asiento <strong>de</strong> las activida<strong>de</strong>s<br />
socioproductivas <strong>de</strong> Corrientes<br />
<strong>de</strong>s<strong>de</strong> 1650. •<br />
