This paper <strong>de</strong>als on with the e« momic Jife o/ the Real <strong>de</strong> ",¡"as of<br />
Huautla, mining locality situated in the Cuautla o/ Amilpas d istrict,<br />
throughout the 18" century. The work analyzes the greal mining<br />
growth w hich happened between 1770 and 1790. causOO b y the<br />
action of three faclors: the Bourbon reforms (in special reductions<br />
and fiscal exemptioos). the rote ptayed by the lOioing pri vileges io<br />
the reactivation o/ the economic activ ities o/ the small mining nu<strong>de</strong>i<br />
wh ich were located in the center olthe Viceroyalty - m ust o/ them<br />
