Directions
Please follow these steps (and, for more help, see the attached exemplar):
1. Write the name of the story/title of the book in the middle of the target.
2. Write eight of the most important characters from the story in the first set of
spaces. (Note: You can also look at eight themes, settings, symbols....)
3. In the same space where the name appears, include a symbol that somehow
represents this character. The symbol should be based on the story not your
personal opinion.
4. In the second (i.e., outer most) set of spaces, write down examples (or page
numbers) and words that show your understanding of the character.
