1.- Concepto <strong>Huella</strong> <strong>de</strong> carbono<br />
• <strong>Huella</strong> <strong>de</strong> carbono:<br />
• Expresión que se refiere al total <strong>de</strong> emisiones <strong>de</strong> gases <strong>de</strong> efecto<br />
inverna<strong>de</strong>ro producidos por una actividad particular o entidad a lo largo<br />
<strong>de</strong>l ciclo <strong>de</strong> vida para un <strong>de</strong>terminado producto/servicio y unidad<br />
funcional que se <strong>de</strong>clara.<br />
• Se expresa habitualmente en términos <strong>de</strong> masa por unidad <strong>de</strong> producto<br />
(ó unidad funcional (u.f.))<br />
(normalmente Kg CO2e / u.f. en masa o volumen o ton Co2e / u.f.)<br />
Para enten<strong>de</strong>r el concepto <strong>de</strong> huella <strong>de</strong> carbono hay que<br />
compren<strong>de</strong>r el concepto <strong>de</strong> análisis <strong>de</strong> ciclo <strong>de</strong> vida (ACV).<br />
