Trasudado (insuficiencia cardíaca, fallo renal…)<br />
Exudado / empiema (paraneumónico, colección pleural<br />
infectada…). Según los criterios <strong>de</strong> Light:<br />
• Presencia <strong>de</strong> bacterias en las tinciones.<br />
• Pus visible.<br />
• Glucosa menor <strong>de</strong> 10 mg/dl.<br />
• pH menor <strong>de</strong> 7.2.<br />
• LDH elevado (mayor <strong>de</strong> 1000 IU/l)<br />
