HOW TO FIT AND REMOVE THE REPLACEABLE BATTERIES<br />

Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.<br />

To replace spent batteries inside the compartment:<br />

• Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover with a screwdriver and open the cover. Then remove the spent batteries and fit new<br />

ones, ensuring that they have been fitted in the correct polarity (as shown on the product), close the battery cover, and tighten the screw<br />

(drawing 5).<br />

• Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.<br />

• Always remove spent batteries from the toy to avoid the danger of leakage from the battery damaging the product.<br />

• If the batteries happen to leak liquid, replace them imme<strong>di</strong>ately, making sure you clean the compartment beforehand; wash your hands<br />

thoroughly if you come into contact with any such liquid.<br />

• Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time<br />

• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct function of this product.<br />

• Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.<br />

• Never mix new and old batteries.<br />

• Do not burn or <strong>di</strong>spose of old batteries into the environment. Dispose of them at an appropriate <strong>di</strong>fferentiated collection point.<br />

• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.<br />

• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as the toy may not work properly.<br />

• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they might explode.<br />

• If using rechargeable batteries, remove them from the toy before recharging them. Batteries must always be recharged under adult<br />

supervision.<br />

• Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time<br />

• This product is not <strong>des</strong>igned for use with lithium batteries.<br />

CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE OF THE TOY<br />

Clean all plastic parts with a soft cloth. Do not soak the panel in water.<br />

Protect the toy against heat, dust, sand, humi<strong>di</strong>ty and water.<br />

The hanging toys are machine washable on a gentle cycle<br />

100% polyester<br />

1. Machine wash at 30°C.<br />

2. Do not bleach.<br />

3. Do not tumble dry.<br />

4. Do not iron.<br />

5. Do not dry clean.<br />

This product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.<br />

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance in<strong>di</strong>cates that the product, at the end of its life, must be <strong>di</strong>sposed of separately from<br />

domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste <strong>di</strong>sposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it to<br />

your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste <strong>di</strong>sposal<br />

site at the end of its life. If the <strong>di</strong>sused appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and <strong>di</strong>sposed<br />

of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the product’s<br />
