DISCUSSION: This tell is not much different than a player holding a full house and staring<br />
blatantly away from the table. Look closely and you'll see that the man across the table is<br />
looking slightly away as the bet enters the pot. Since he's a sophisticated player, he won't<br />
exaggerate this act, but he still applies this universal Weak Means Strong trick on a more refined<br />
level. He's trying to fool you and he looks ready to pounce ... because he is ready to pounce.<br />
BEST STRATEGY: Don't bet moderately strong hands in the hope of getting a weak call. He<br />
doesn't have a weak hand, so a weak call is impossible! You need a big hand to call if he bets.<br />
This is not a good opportunity to bluff and you won't be bluffed.<br />

TITLE: How long should I wait before I raise?<br />
CATEGORY: Weak Means Strong.<br />
DESCRIPTION: In limit poker games, players make their choices promptly. In no-limit games,<br />
it's customary to take more time. This is a very important sequence. In Photo 62 the player in the<br />
foreground bets, but that's not all! Across the table the opponent makes no movement to prevent<br />
the bet. In order to correctly interpret the final strength of the opponent's hand, we must keep<br />
this in mind. Even skilled no-limit players will often make some minor gestures to prevent a bet<br />
they don't want. They may do this by staring at you, reaching toward their chips or any number<br />
of mannerisms to be discussed in the next chapter, Strong Means Weak. After the initial bet, the<br />
