s othersMuseumsThe portraits come to lifeThe Fine Arts Museum of Asturias will carry out an interestingprogramme of activities up to December to bring art closer toall types of publics, with didactical experiences for school children,workshops for kids and youngsters, puppets for the little ones, artfor the family and guided visits for adults.From the 6th to the 30th of November 2012, from Tuesday to Friday(except non-school days), there will be an activity called “Didacticalexperience: Panorama of feelings”. This is aimed at primary schoolstudents of all levels and consists of two 90 minute sessions per day.With similar characteristics, from the 4th to the 21st of December2012, there will also be the “Didactical experience: Graphic humourand caricatures”, aimed at secondary education students, (all levels).Puppet workshopsWith the title: “String Puppets: the Museum portraits come tolife”, during the 27th and 28th of December, there will beworkshops for boys and girls of between 6 and 11 years old wherethey will be able to make string puppets from rolls of newspapercharacterising the figures in important portraits belonging to theMuseum’s collection.
