Dear Friends,ndIt gives me great pleasure to present you this 2 edition of MembersDirectory 2008, brought out by Pharmexcil, with the support ofMinistry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.Pharmexcil received good appreciation from the overseas buyers,Indian embassies globally, foreign embassies located in India, variousGovt. agencies etc, when copies of our earlier edition of MembersDirectory were sent to them. It is understood from our embassies thatthe Members Directory of Pharmexcil is widely referred by the localimporters for sourcing their pharmaceutical requirements from India.VENKAT JASTIChairmanthIn this edition, information about members registered up to 30September 2008 is included. There are about 2800 listings in thisDirectory comprising of various sectors like pharmaceuticalformulations (710 members), Bulk Drugs & Intermediates (542members), Herbal products (146 members), Biotech products (55members), Merchant exporters (1085 members) etc. copies of whichwill be sent to foreign buyers, Indian embassies etc., for their use.Council will be distributing these copies (CD / print version) to thevisitors of major Pharma exhibitions where Pharmexcil will beparticipating in the coming months.I am also happy to inform the members that Council is putting all itsefforts to come out with another edition of Members Directory withadditional information like, company profile, 'Search by Company','Search by Product' options etc., which, I am sure, will be of immensehelp to Indian as well as overseas buyers.
