Dénia ist ein beliebter Ferienort am
Mittelmeer und wird wegen dem
angenehmen, milden und gesunden Mittelmeerklima,
dem Reichtum seiner Kulturen,
den Festen und Traditionen, der Gastronomie
und vielen Angeboten, das Mediterrane
Meer zu genießen, auch oft als das
„Tor zur Costa Blanca“ bezeichnet. Dénia
hebt sich ab von anderen Orten durch
die Schönheit der umliegenden Landschaft,
Strände und Buchten. Dénia bietet
insgesamt zwanzig Kilometer Strand, von
felsigen Küsten im Süden der Stadt bis zu
feinen Sandstränden.

as Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist die Burg
„El Castillo de Dénia“ die sich im
Herzen der Stadt auf einem Hügel von
knapp siebzig Metern Höhe erhebt. Mehrere
Museen bieten den Besuchern einen
Einblick in die Jahrtausende alte Vergangenheit
der Stadt. Von der Burg bietet
sich ein überwältigender Ausblick über die

gesamte Stadt. Im restaurierten ehemaligen
Gouverneurspalast befindet sich das
Archäologische Museum.
Unter den schattigen Platanen der
Prachtstraße von Dénia, die „Marques
de Campo“ lässt es sich herrlich
bummeln, Schaufenster betrachten und
shoppen. Zahlreiche gemütliche Bars,
Cafeterias und Restaurants laden zum
Verweilen ein. Aber auch in den angrenzenden
Gassen und Straßen findet man
ein reichhaltiges Angebot an Kunstgewerbe
und Mode.

Dénia is a popular resort on the Mediterranean
Sea and is due to the
pleasant, mild and healthy Mediterranean
climate, the richness of its cultures,
festivals and traditions, gastronomy and
many offers to enjoy the Mediterranean
Sea, also often called the „gateway to the
Costa Blanca“ designated. Dénia stands
out from other places by the beauty of
the surrounding countryside, beaches and
coves. Dénia offers a total of twenty
kilometers of beach, from rocky shores
south of the city to sandy beaches.

he landmark of the city is the castle „El
Castillo de Dénia“ which rises in the
heart of the city on a hill of almost seventy
meters. Several museums offer visitors
a glimpse of the millennia-old history of
the town. From the castle you have a
magnificent view over the entire city. In
the restored former Governor‘s Palace is
the Archaeological Museum.

Avenue of Dénia, the „Marques de
Campo“, visitors can stroll delightfully,
look at shop windows and shopping.
Numerous cozy bars, cafés and
restaurants invite you to linger. But also
in the adjacent lanes and streets you will

Entdecken Sie das bedeutendste Monument
der Stadt nebem dem Archäologischen Museum.
Aufstieg zu Fuß: der Aufstieg beginnt über
die Treppen der C/Hospital Straße neben dem
Rathaus von Dénia. Danach, etwas weiter links,
gibt es eine weitere Treppe über die „Cuesta
Madre Amparo“ Gasse, die uns direkt zur C/San
Francisco Straße und zum Burgeingang führt.
