❖Discapacidad: es un termino general que abarca las deficiencias, las limitaciones de la actividad y las<br />
restricciones de la participación.<br />
❖Disability: is a general term that covers deficiencies, limitations of activity and restrictions of<br />
participation.
❖Actividad física: cualquier movimiento corporal producido por los músculos esqueléticos y que<br />
ocasionan un gasto de energía superior al estado de reposo.<br />
❖Physical activity: any body movement produced by the skeletal muscles and causing an energy<br />
expenditure greater than the resting state.
❖Ejercicio físico: es la actividad física planificada, estructurada, repetitiva e intencionada<br />
con el objetivo de mejorar o mantener uno o mas de los componentes de la condición<br />
física.<br />
