• Es el puntaje asociado al parámetro x.<br />
BS (Block Strength)<br />
• Es la resistencia en compresión uniaxial <strong>de</strong> los bloques <strong>de</strong> roca que conforman el macizo<br />
rocoso; la cual <strong>de</strong>pen<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> la resistencia <strong>de</strong> la roca “intacta” (<strong>de</strong>nominada IRS, Intact Rock<br />
Strength, en el método <strong>de</strong> <strong>Laubscher</strong>), y la presencia <strong>de</strong> vetillas. El puntaje asociado a BS<br />
pue<strong>de</strong> variar <strong>de</strong> 0 (si BS = 0 MPa) a 25 (si BS ≥ 160 MPa).
