wishes to promote Vietnam’s history out to the world, aiming to
reform the narrative about Vietnam’s history internationally.
Glamour is Mademoiselle’s first collection, where was
inspired by the last emperor of Vietnam. The main character of
this collection was looked after the image of the strongest and
prettiest queen of Vietnam during the last emperor.
If you love heritage,
love history of any other
nationality, do not be
hesitate to show it. With

Model board
This is Mademoiselle
message would like to send
in brand launch collection.
Therefore Mademoiselle
chose a mixed model that
able to feature the
harmony of Beautiness of
Eastern and Western.
“In the beauty of Heritage, there is no border regardless of your nationality and origins.”
How many people in the
world know about Vietnam’s
heritage aside of Vietnam
wars, French colonised and
China Colonised periods?
That is the reason
Mademoiselle was found,
With an intention want to
promote Vietnam’s heritage
with the most joyful way to
the world. As well as to
reform the narrative about
Vietnam’s history throughout
many periods internationally.
Commitment with
contemporary art and
design, Mademoiselle picked
out small details in the
Queen’s dresses, and
architecture details then
regenerated them. People
assumed that the collection
would be old or off fashion
when “Glamour” still in
process, due to the inspiration.
No dragon, no
chrysanthemum appear in
any design through the whole
collection, but even able to
send a feeling of royalty to
public. Primary colors and
gold element are practiced
skillfully and successfully
revived traditional items yet
not giving offensive.
Nam Phuong Queen
and Fridah Kahlo are two
women that inspried me
a lot in this collection.
For me they are the
simbol of Women’s
Empowerment.
Nam Phuong Queen,
is known as a smart and
It was very rare in the 30s
to find a lady who have
well and high educated
as her.
She was an image of
Gender Equality of
Vietnam during the 30s.
Fridah Kahlo, was a
politist and an artist
during late 20s and early
30s in Mexico.
Same with Nam
Phuong Queen, Fridah
was a symbol of Gender
Equality. She was the
only female politic in
Mexican Communist
Party during the 30s.
We are a jewelry and accessory
brand, inspired by Vietnam culture
and proud heritages. Mademoiselle
is the place where all the golden
ages of Vietnam is treasured.
Mademoiselle also wishes to
promote Vietnam’s history out to
the world, aiming to reform the
narrative about Vietnam’s history
internationally.
We are traditional, but we are
not old. Mademoiselle’s designs are
contemporary with intricacy as
each object made with resin is a
mixed medium manipulating
heritage
and revitalizing it in an abstract
way so that a piece of heritage is
worn by our beloved customer.

FASHION EDITORIAL
Wonderlust
The story of finding the
identity was an editorial
team-work project, which I
played in part of Art Director and
Stylist.
The idea in this editorial was
a demonstration the identity
issue or relatively having a crisis in
finding your own identity. At a
time like this which is crucial for
the youths, many have been
astray based on trying to find
themselves, their identity.
WONDERLUST
Identity issue
represents a young lady
who suffering in
searching for her own
identity within this
society and time.
amongst the many genre
of style such as GOTH,
FUNK, PREPPY, one
maybe and feel lost or
even highly influenced in
being part of the
subculture gang due to
trying to fit in society
status.
The garments portrayed
throughout the looks are
heavily focusing on the
movements at each
body-part. Hands and
legs are those body-part
that able to do the best
to express the
movements which
metaphor of the freedom
and and the urge in
searching her identity.
The little young lady’s
body-part are bale to
reach out to many
directions and sources.
The portrayal of the movements created by the
garments near the legs and hands particularly are
often shown that she is constantly searching for her
identity. Beside that, the best way to express the
character, eyes also could not be missed.
The identity issue or
relatively having a crisis in
finding your own identity. At a
time like this which is crucial
for the youths, many have
been astray based on trying to
find themselves, their identity.
They finds a muse and a
certain style that they like and
they dressed themselves up
based on that. But the
question is ‘Do you really like
it? Do you fell a sense of
comfort and familiarity in
being that individuality?’
There are many ways
that we could find
inspiration or escapades to
find our identity. For an
instance, youths are often
seen to be nightingale
where they are often
hanging out to seek comfort.
Others may just simply take
a walk aimlessly and see
where their legs might bring
them too.
Despite that, there are
many youths has lost their
own sense of identity and
trying to portray a certain
identity or a facade. Which is
often leads the youths to
unhappiness as well as
dissatisfaction.

BRANDING
MARKETING
GO GREEN NO WASTE was the
rebranding campaign made for
WoonHung.
Meanwhile, Sustainability and
fashion are two words that never
went well in the same sentence.
With the dramatic growth in
demand of fast fashion, and the
media desensitisation of material
waste for pollution, awareness is at
an all time low. Believe that "Go
Green No Waste” will change this.
Mad
WoonHung is all about handcrafted
accessories made out of sustainable
renewable materials. Partnering with
craftsmen from Cebu, Philippines, WoonHung
wants to revitalising the community by
passing down the craftsmanship as well as
spreading awareness on renewability and
sustainability. furthermore, it allows the
provision of jobs for the Cebu craftsmen to
feed their family.
With the aiming to help a
local brand to revitalise their
brand and re-launching their
new version to public.
WoonHung is an accessories
brand driven by a Singapore
designer Yvonne chia. From
cutting down tree accessories,
WoonHung provides the best
quality and handmade
accessories, highly focusing on
renewability and sustainable
materials in hope of achieving
a balance in design while
steering towards evergreen
classic accessories.
WoonHung’s commitment
to “Go Green, No Waste” has
created a material-first
approach for catch design in all
the WoonHung’s collection. This
requires us to work very closely
with the people who live and
breathe the nature and natural
materials they are so intimately
involves with. With the use of
simple tools and method
practiced by the sources
materials, increase its longevity
and natural beauty and leave no
wastage of materials.
Apart from sustainability in
the treatment of natural and
renewable resources, the
essence of WoonHung is all
about the craftsmen skills and
their capability to provide for
their families. At WoonHung, we
care very much about sustaining
their livelihood.
With each piece of
accessory lovingly handmade
by the hands of skilled
craftsmen from Cebu,
Philippines, each bead has
gone through multiple hands
and tireless hours resulting in
seemingly machine-made
with the perfect cut and
colour. This is only possible
with the tradition skills of the
cottage industries that have
been passed on from
generations to generations.
WoonHung is an advocate of renewable materials. A supporter of sustainability,
which also goes to support the running of cottage industries & the continuation of
traditional crafts housed within. Craftspeople who use their skill to support their
families & that skill is hopefully passed onto the next generation.
