Identify and evaluate a viable economic
market opportunity that exists due to a
gap left in a market by those who
currently serve it. This allows others to add
value to customers by identifying existing
problems and providing solutions.

A good business plan is essential to
exploiting the defined opportunity,
determining the resources required,
and successfully managing the
business.
