SKETCHBOOK DEVEOPMENT PAGES
Various Collages For The Farmers Protest In India
A4
For the first collage I have used a hatching technique with plain and image paper to create a dispersed plantation effect. Then I used white and black card strips for behind the famers image to create an
imprisoned effect.
The second collage I have used one of my digital collages as the background and then I screen printed over the top of it. I only used this Aegean tone of blue as there would be too much happening on one page. I
created the tractor stencil myself just so that it can fit in with the theme.
For the third image I used dye sublimation with a heat press. I created two stencils, one for the text and the other for the farmers silhoette. For the print surrounding the the other features I used lace to make
the pattern.
Lastly, I created a mixed media collage using dry acrylic image transfer, newspaper print and cello tape text transfer.
India Farmers Protest Gifs
Above is one of the gifs I created based on
the farmers protest in India. I used a dry
acrylic image transfer collage with
secondary images and some digital
illustration. I wanted to show the success and
pride the farmers gained after the
government had repealed the laws. Ihave also
included an embossed background of a corn
field.
Here I have used a secondary image of an
Indian farmer and used filters to give it a
vintage effect. Then I went onto using screen
printed stencils as the rotating rings around
the farmer to show the protest moving on.
Next I included typography above the image
with a stamp font and an embossed
background with a crowd of farmers.
Above I have used the following techniques of
screen printing, digital illustration and
collaging. I used my screen printed
stencil underneath a found India map from an
atlas. Then a secondary image of the farmers
on tractors with some overlayed effects.
Then I added noise to the background to
incorporate texture.

CONCEALMENT MENTAL HEALTH POSTERS
For each of these posters above I used pieces from my 'Concealment' project I covered in my BTEC course. These pieces were originally made
with pencil/biro and water colour concealing parts of the face to show the struggles of mental health. I then overlayed different filters over the
pieces to create a dramatic effect and use text to communicate my ideas.
STYLIST MAGAZINE DESIGN
'Hidden Identity' shoot for stylist magazine using props and red velvet blanket for the backdrop. Then
using photoshop I created a magazine cover and double page spread mock up. Added a catchy slogan
and use the stylist magazine font.
