MIC SELECTION - CONFIGURATIONSummary:• Configure using CPSOptions:Default: When an Accessory is connected to the radio the AccessoryPTT button and the radio side-button PTT both activate themicrophone on the Accessory. The Internal microphone on the radio isnever active.External PTT Only: When an Accessory is connected to the radio, theAccessory PTT button activates the Accessory microphone. The radioside-button PTT is disabled (a.k.a “side-button lock-out”).Mic Follow PTT: When an Accessory is connected to the radio, theAccessory PTT button activates the Accessory microphone. The radioside-button PTT activates the internal microphone.Notes:1. The Mic Selection Rule only applies when an Accessory isconnected to the radio. MICROPHONE DISTORTION CONTROLSummary:• Your radio adjusts its microphone to match yourvoice, so your call is never distorted.SL 7500XPR 7550 ISXPR 7500XPR 7300Detail:• This is a transmit-only feature. It improves voice quality when theuser is speaking loudly into the microphone, and works alongsidethe standard AGC (Automatic Gain Control) of the radio.• The radio continuously monitors the quality of the speech data as itis being processed.
