Hand Massage
Let’s get it
started
Presentation Created by Judith Guerra
Essential oils can be used for these type of massages. However, to avoid any issues
with smell you can choose to use carrier oils: almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or
apricot oil.
ALWAYS consult with your doctor before engaging in massage for arthritis, or other
conditions like osteoarthritis.
Some of My Favorite Carrier Oils
• Coconut Oil is available in refined or unrefined varieties.
Unrefined is not processed with chemicals. However, it does
have the coconut aroma (flavor). This is a good carrier oil for
massage and skin care.
• Sweet Almond Oil has a nutty aroma. It’s lightweight and
easily absorb. Good for dry skin. This is a good carrier oil for
massage and skin care.
• Olive Oil edible and has a fruity aroma. Extra-Virgin is
preferred for skin care.
• Apricot Oil – kernel oil (apricot) is made from apricot
seeds. It’s an emollient oil, which means it is effective for
soothing and healing dry skin. Good to use in the
wintertime.
• Jojoba Oil – comes from seeds of the jojoba plant. Also
referred to as jojoba wax. Mimics the skin’s natural oil
(sebum). Absorbs easily in the skin and does not clog pores.
Good for massage.
What Is The Best Acupressure Ring? (smarterhealing.com)
Presentation Created by Judith Guerra
Why Should You Use An
Acupressure Ring?
Studies reveal a link between
acupressure points and a
complex multi-layered
nervous system. For
example, applying
acupressure to the pinky
stimulates the ulnar nerve
whose primary responsibility
is to join the limbs and
organs directly to the central
nervous system.
Relax with Rings
•Acupressure Rings ramp up
your energy and powers of
concentration.
•Acupressure Rings are
simple solutions that can be
used when you are working
on a computer, reading, and
studying, or any other time.
An acupressure ring is
helpful to have nearby on
especially hectic days to
reduce tension or to uplift
your energy level during a
long day.
How to Use Acupressure Rings
R E L A X R I N G S
• Acupressure rings are small metal rings that are worn on the
fingers and used to apply pressure to specific points on the
fingers. They are designed to stimulate blood flow and warm up
the muscles, which can help ease tension and balance out the
system. Here is how to use acupressure rings:
• Place a ring over one finger.
• Using the fingers of the other hand, roll it up and down the
finger.
• Stimulating the acupoints on a daily basis is
recommended. Therefore, using the ring at least once a day for
5-10 minutes is highly encouraged. I hope this helps!
