Anatomisches Design entspricht der
Knochenstruktur der distalen Tibia, des
lateralen Talus und der posterioren Facette
des Calcaneus und erlaubt die optimale
Fixation mit winkelstabilen Schrauben,
sowie die Kompression über beide
Gelenke. Die flache Profilstärke (3.5 mm)
der Platte verhindert zudem Weichteilirritationen

Externes Kompressionsgerät nutzt das ovale
Gleitloch der Platte um kontrollierte, gleichmäßig

Um eine gute Fixation beim Einbringen der
distalen Tibia-Schrauben im kortikalen
Knochen zu erreichen, kann der Ø 2.7 mm
Standardbohrer durch einen Ø 3.5 mm
Bohrer ersetzt werden.
Der Ø 3.5 mm Bohrer kann generell bei
härterem Tibia-Knochen eingesetzt werden.

Anatomic design to conform to the distal
tibia, lateral talar dome and posterior facet
of the calcaneus permitting optimal fixation
of angled locking screws and compression
across both joints. The flat plate profil
(3.5 mm) avoids soft tissue irritations.
• External compression device
External compression device utilises the
oval gliding hole in the plate to apply
controlled, graded compression across
the arthrodesis site.
• Different drill diameters
To ensure good fixation during the insertion
of the distal tibia screws in the cortical
bone, the standard Ø 2,7 mm drill can be
exchanged to a larger Ø 3,5 mm drill.
The 3.5 mm drill can be used in cases with
harder bone in the tibia.

VENTAJAS DEL SISTEMA
• Diseño especial de la placa
Diseño anatómico correspondiente a las
estructuras de la tibia distal, del astrágalo
lateral y de la faceta posterior del calcáneo
permitiendo una fijación óptima con tornillos
de bloqueo, así como una compresión a
través de ambas articulaciones. Perfil plano
de la placa (3.5 mm) evitando irritaciones
de las partes blandas.

Para asegurar una buena fijación durante la
colocación de los tornillos tibiales en la
parte distal del hueso cortical, la broca
estandár de Ø 2.7 mm puede ser
reemplazado por una broca de Ø 3,5 mm.
Generalmente se puede utilizar la broca
de Ø 3,5 mm en hueso duro de la tibia.

RESEKTION DER FIBULA RESECTION OF THE FIBULA
• Die distale Fibula muss gekürzt werden.
Die Länge der Fibula-Resektion wird vom
Operateur in Abhängigkeit zur
gewünschten Arbeitslänge der Platte
bestimmt, welche für die Fixation ausge
wählt wurde.
• The distal fibula requires resection. The
length of the fibula resection is deter
mined by the surgeon to achieve the
desirable working length of the plate
chosen for fixation.
POSTOPERATIVE BEHANDLUNG POST OPERATIVE TREATMENT
• Der Patient wird im Gips immobilisiert
und darf für 2 Wochen nicht belasten,
damit sich die Weichteile beruhigen
können. Danach kann der Patient
abhängig von der intra-operativ erlang
ten Fixationsstärke im Gips oder
Entlastungsschuh den Fuß belasten.
• Patient can be immobilised in a cast and
remain non- weight bearing for 2 weeks
to allow the soft tissues to settle.
Thereafter, the patient can bear weight
through a cast or walking boot depen
dent upon the strength of fixation
achieved intra-operatively.

RESECCIÓN DEL PERONÉ
• El peroné distal requiere una resección.
La cantidad de la resección del peroné
está determinada por el cirujano con el
fin de conseguir la longitud adecuada
de la placa elegida para la osteosíntesis.
TRATAMIENTO POSTOPERATORIO
• El paciente estará inmovilizado con yeso
durante 2 semanas y sin carga hasta
que las partes blandas se calmen.
Después la carga, en yeso o bota,
depende de la fijación conseguida
intraoperatoriamente.
