Memoria Institucional 2010 18 ACTIVIDADES DE APOYO AL DESARROLLO DEL DEPORTE AFILIADO
1. PROMOCIÓN Y APOYO DEL DEPORTE AFILIADO Una de las principales políticas institucionales del Instituto Peruano del Deporte es promover y apoyar el desarrollo del deporte afiliado. Este apoyo lo realizamos en diferentes formas: a través de subvenciones a las Federaciones Deportivas y al Comité Olímpico Peruano, directamente al deportista, fortaleciendo capacidades de los agentes del deporte competitivo o mediante servicios médicos para los deportistas. Lo ejecutado en el 2010 por cada uno de estos rubros lo apreciaremos en las siguientes líneas. 1.1 SUBVENCIONES A FEDERACIONES DEPORTIVAS, COMITÉ OLÍMPICO PERUANO Y FEDUP En el año 2010 el IPD otorgó recursos financieros, bajo la forma de subvenciones, a las Federaciones Deportivas, Comité Olímpico Peruano y la Federación Universitaria del Perú por la suma de S/. 12 325 214, un 22 % mayor a las subvenciones entregadas en el año 2009 y un 44 % mayor a lo entregado en el 2008. Debemos resaltar que en los últimos años ha habido un incremento significativo de las subvenciones, como se aprecia en la gráfica siguiente: El destino de estas subvenciones fue el siguiente: Evolución de las subvenciones a personas jurídicas, periodo 2008 - 2010 (En nuevos Soles) 8 583 930 2008 10 129 616 • CONTRATACIÓN DE ENTRENADORES DEPORTIVOS 12 325 214 2009 2010 Con el propósito de mejorar el rendimiento de los deportistas, financiamos la contratación de 128 entrenadores deportivos para beneficio de aproximadamente 4 500 deportistas de nivel competitivo de 22 Federaciones Deportivas Nacionales debidamente formalizadas, así como al COP a través del cual se apoyó a los deportistas cuyas Federaciones tienen problemas institucionales o de formalización, el monto destinado para este fin fue de S/. 2 829 296.
