General Recommendations
We have spent countless hours testing all of our settings; your suspension should be exactly
what you want it to be. We guarantee all suspension re-valves for ninety days. If you are not
100% satisfied, please notify us ASAP.
Below you will find important information for checking your sag and maintenance tips for
keeping your suspension performing at it’s best.
We recommend checking your sag before taking your bike on its first ride and make sure to
check the sag again after the first few rides.
Setting the Sag
Place your bike on a stand so the rear wheel does not touch the ground.
Measure the distance between the rear axle and the fender. Write this number down.
Place the rider on the bike and bounce, making sure the rider is resting his/her feet on the
pegs and let the bike settle.
Measure the two points again, write this number down.
Finally, subtract the second number from the original number, your final number is the
amount of sag you have. Compare this to the number we recommend on your spec sheet. (If
the setting is off by more than a turn or so on the spring please contact us ASAP.
Also, be sure to check the static sag. The difference between on the stand and sitting on the
ground with no rider. (push down on the seat and release slowly)
Shock Maintenance
• Clean and inspect after every ride
• Grease linkage once a month
• Service after every 40 hours of use maximum
• Replace bladder and seal case each season
Fork Maintenance
• Clean and inspect after every ride
• Remove dust seal and clean after mud or sand use
• Return for service after every 40 hours of use maximum
• Replace seals and bushings each season
If you follow these tips, your bike will continue to perform at its very best and provide days
of enjoyment. If you have any questions please contact us ASAP.
