Vacuum cleaner will not start
The vacuum cleaner has a thermal cut-out that may
have tripped. If this happens; unplug the main power
cord. Then wait for ten minutes to let the machine
cool down. While you are waiting, check the hose,
dust bag and filters to be sure that nothing is blocking
the flow of air through the machine. Then put back
the cord and press the reset button on the panel. If
the cut-out trips again call a service technician.
Are you using the correct hose? Only original Centra
Vacs hoses have the correct fitting.
Does the vacuum cleaner start when you try a different
vacuum socket? If so, there is a fault in the
electrical connection to the first socket. Unscrew the
socket and check the connection at the rear.
Is the vacuum cleaner connected to the mains
socket? Is there power at the socket? Is the lowvoltage
lead connected to the vacuum cleaner?
