In order to facilitate cleaning the basin and fittings, all eMOTE fittings with an
ON-OFF function are equipped with a cleaning mode.
The device switches itself on when a hand is offered up to the sensor area. If the
hand is retained in the sensor area (10-3 cm) for five seconds, the device switches
off the water flow for 1.5 minutes (water supply interrupted). During these 1.5
minutes, the fitting and the basin can be cleaned without difficulty and with no risk
of accidentally switching the device on. The device then automatically reverts to
its normal function.
