IDEAL 2000 SYSTEM
The 2000 range is a system with double draught-proof weather seals: one on the rebate of the fixed frame and the other on the sash or
panel rebates. All hinged and rebated combinations are stepped between the profile of the actual door or window and that of the fixed
frame. On the exterior the combinations: are stepped, and semi-circulars.
All the main profiles have three cavities which provide such excellent heat insulation that they are classified as group 1 materials for
window frames according to the standard DIN 4108, thermal transmittance Uf=1,6 (w/m2k).
The frames are made to standard RAL 716/1. The elements may be installed according to group B up to a building height of 20 m [wind
load 0.096 N/cm2 (96 kg/m2)].
Exceptions: Group of use A up to a building height of 8 m [wind load 0.060 N/cm2 (60 kg/m2)] for arched windows, tilting windows, lifting
sliding doors and entrance doors.
The reference to groups of use (A and B) and relative wind loads is based on current regulations in Germany..
IDEAL 4000 - IDEAL 5000 SYSTEMS
The 4000 and 5000 ranges are systems with triple bracing gaskets: one on the fixed frame and two on the door striking plate. They have
an internal step between the fixed frame and the door. On the outside they are semi-complanar and appear flush, with rounding that gives
them a very pleasing aspect. All main profiles are made up of five chambers (4000 and 5000 ranges, respectively), wich confers optimum
thermal isolation, placing them in group 1 of materials for frames (DIN 4108). The elements may be installed according to group 8
(reference to norms in force Germany) that is, in buildings up to 20 m tall (wind pressure 0,096 N/cubic m (96 Kg/mq);
thermal transmittance: Ideal 4000 Uf=1,3 (w/m2k) – Ideal 5000 Uf=1,2 (w/m2k) –Ideal 5000 ENERGETO Uf=1,0 (w/m2k)
RAW MATERIALS
All the profiles are produced to standard DIN 7748 in hard, modified polyvinyl chloride with high resistance to impact and to ultraviolet rays
and atmospheric agents. The preparation formula is cadmium free.
REINFORCEMENT
Depending on the size of the windows and the static requirements, the main sections are reinforced by inserting galvanised, cold-rolled
steel sections in the larger central chamber. Fixing is with screws.
GASKETS
The central gaskets, for glass striking plates and TPE produced glass; aged material with high resistance to the elements (quality
according to DIN 7863). The gaskets are inserted in their special seats, through a particular pre-mounting industrial procedure used for
profiles. They are welded into corners to provide continuity in capacity. Standard colors. In ranges 2000-4000-5000, for frames and glass,
grey on white frames and black on coated frames (dark colors).
ACTION
All the doors, window sashes and central profiles have European type grooves (width 16 mm and movement axis of 13 mm), whereby all
the mechanisms are recessed and guided for easy action. The locking positions are on the handle and not on the mechanisms. The handle
has three snap locking positions and an easy, gentle movement. Movement pressure may be easily adjusted. All the fittings and
mechanisms are suitably protected against corrosion and have the RAL quality mark color silver.
GLAZING
All the window and door frames come complete with glazing to be able to give the customer a finished product with quality that is
guaranteed. The tightness is ensured by TPE seals and gaskets. The maximum thickness of the glass (or panels) may be 33 mm with
Ideal-2000 and 41 mm with Ideal-4000 and Ideal-5000. The glazing beads are attached along the whole length, thereby ensuring a
continuous correct pressure on the glass. All the glazing beads are fully mitred and carefully finished. With apertures of less than 500 x 500
mm, the glazing beads are cut at 90°, leaving the horizontal ones the longest (from profile to profile), while the vertical ones go from
glazing bead to glazing bead.
QUALITY
All the DIQUIGIOVANNI window and door frames are produced with System Certification ISO 9001 Ed.2008, in our factory in
Castelgomberto (Vicenza) where the latest and most sophisticated constructional techniques are employed by a highly qualified labour
force. The frames are produced to RAL-RG 719/1 standards.
