Dual relative humidity and temperature transmitter for HVAC applications, environmental<br />

monitoring, pharmaceutical storage, food transport, greenhouse<br />

automation, etc. Equipped with an IP65 stainless steel AISI 304 housing, it<br />

is suitable even for severe environments; besides, its ultra-compact dimensions<br />

(∅ 14 x 133 mm) and wide range of outputs (analogue 0...1V or digital<br />

RS232C, USB 1.1-2.0) make it ideal for integrating into a variety of OEM<br />

applications. It is supplied with the <strong>HD</strong>9817TC software for reading measurements<br />

and calibrating the relative humidity sensor. The <strong>HD</strong><strong>9809T</strong> housing is<br />

made in POCAN.<br />

The Yellow and Green wires are used during calibration only for PC connection<br />

through the <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL interface module (see the paragraph about<br />

the RH sensor calibration).<br />

Power is supplied to the Red (+) and Grey (-) wires.<br />

The output signal voltage is taken from:<br />

• Black (+) and White (-) wires for temperature,<br />

• Blue (+) and White (-) wires for relative humidity.<br />

This model requires that you install USB drivers fi rst in order to ensure a<br />

correct PC connection: don’t connect the instrument to your PC before<br />

Relative humidity calibration<br />

The instruments are supplied factory calibrated and ready to use. The CDRom<br />

supplied with the instruments includes a relative humidity calibration procedure.<br />

The online help describes this procedure in detail.<br />

No procedure exists for temperature calibration.<br />

To connect <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> and <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.1 models to your PC, use the<br />

<strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL interface module: the module is equipped with a USB<br />

type A connector for your PC USB port connection as well as a 4-pole<br />

terminal board to connect the transmitter.<br />

Before connecting the module to your PC, you need to install the USB drivers:<br />

don’t connect the module to your PC before installing the drivers.<br />

For further details, see the guide in the CDRom which is supplied with the<br />

instrument.<br />

Please connect the Red (power supply positive), Grey (power supply negative),<br />

Yellow (Tx) and Green (Rx) wires as shown in the fi gure below.<br />

The terminal board is seen from above: in order to direct the clamps correctly,<br />

make sure that the label on the side of the module is placed as shown in the<br />

To fi x the probe in a ventilation duct, pipe ,etc. you can use, for example, the<br />

Bemerkung zum Modell <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T3</strong> mit USB-Ausgang<br />

Dieses Modell erfordert die vorherige Installation der USB Treiber zum korrekten<br />

Anschluss an den PC: das Gerät nur nach vorheriger Installation der<br />

Treiber an den PC anschliessen. Zu Einzelheiten, siehe Anleitung auf der im<br />

Lieferumfang beinhalteten CD-ROM.<br />

Kalibrierung der relativen Feuchte<br />

Die Geräte verlassen das Werk bereits geeicht und verwendungsbereit. Die<br />

mitgelieferte CD-Rom beinhaltet eine Kalibrierprozedur für den Feuchtesensor,<br />

auf die Einzelheiten der Vorgehensweise wir detailliert in der Online-Hilfe<br />

eingegangen. Für die Kalibrierung der Temperatur ist keine Prozedur vorgesehen<br />

Zum Anschluss der Modelle <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> und <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.1 an den PC ist das<br />

Schnittstellen-Modul <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL zu verwenden: das Modul ist mit einem<br />

USB Stecker Typ A zum Anschluss an einen PC USB Port ausgestattet und<br />

mit einer 4poligen Klemmleiste zum Anschluss an den Transmitter. Vor dem<br />

Anschluss des Moduls an den PC ist es notwendig, die USB Treiber zu installieren:<br />

das Modul nur nach vorheriger Installation der Treiber an den<br />

PC anschliessen. Zu Einzelheiten, siehe Anleitung auf der im Lieferumfang<br />

beinhalteten CD-ROM.<br />

Die anzuschließenden Leiter sind Rot (Positiv der Versorgung), Grau (Negativ<br />

der Versorgung), Gelb (Tx) und Grün (Rx), wie in der folgenden Abbildung:<br />

Zur Wandinstallation stehen die Halterung <strong>HD</strong>9008.21.1 (Wandabstand<br />

die Verwendung des Reduzierstücks <strong>HD</strong>9008.26/14.<br />

Zur direkten Befestigung an eine metallische Oberfl äche (Wand), ist das Wandbefestigungs-Element<br />

de acero inoxidable AISI 304 con grado de protección IP65, está indicado<br />

Los hilos Amarillo y Verde se usan sólo durante la calibración para la conexión<br />

La alimentación debe suministrarse entre los hilos Rojo (+) y Gris (-).<br />

Las tensiones de salida son suministradas por los hilos:<br />

• Negro (+) y Blanco (-) para la temperatura,<br />

• Azul (+) y Blanco (-) para la humedad relativa.<br />

Calibración de la humedad relativa<br />

Los equipos vienen calibrados de fábrica y listos para usar. El CDRom provisto<br />

con los equipos contiene un procedimiento para calibrar el sensor de<br />

humedad relativa. Este procedimiento se detalla en el help en línea.<br />

No está previsto ningún procedimiento de calibración para la temperatura.<br />

Para conectar los modelos <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> y <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.1 al PC, use el módulo<br />

de interfaz <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL: el módulo dispone de conector USB tipo A<br />

para la conexión al puerto USB del PC y de caja de bornes de cuatro<br />

polos para la conexión del transmisor.<br />

Antes de conectar el módulo al PC, es necesario instalar los controladores<br />

USB: no conecte el módulo al PC antes de instalar los controladores.<br />

Conecte los hilos Rojo (positivo de la alimentación), Gris (negativo de la alimentación),<br />

Double transmetteur d’humidité relative et température pour mesures dans<br />

le secteur HVAC, analyse du milieu, stockage de produits pharmaceutiques,<br />

transport de produits alimentaires, automatisation de serres, etc. Boîtier en<br />

acier AISI304 avec degré de protection IP65, cet instrument est conçu pour<br />

applications en conditions environnementales sévères; des plus grâce à sa<br />

dimension très compacte (∅ 14 x 133 mm) et plusieurs sorties disponibles<br />

(analogiques 0...1V ou numériques RS232C, USB 1.1-2.0) il est vraiment approprié<br />

à l’intégration dans beaucoup d’applications OEM. Il est livré avec le<br />

logiciel <strong>HD</strong>9817TC pour la lecture des misures de PC et étallonage du capteur<br />

d’humidité relative. Le boîtier du <strong>HD</strong><strong>9809T</strong> et plastique POCAN.<br />

L’instrument est doté d’un câble de 7 fi ls + écran.<br />

Les fi ls Jaune et Vert sont utilisés seulement pendant la procédure d’étalonnage<br />

pour la connexion au PC au moyen du module d’interface <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL<br />

(on voit le paragraphe sur l’étalonnage du capteur d’humidité relative).<br />

L’alimentation doit être fournie entre les fi ls Rouge (+) et Gris (-).<br />

Relever les tensions du signal de sortie entre les fi ls:<br />

• Noir (+) et Blanc (-) pour la température,<br />

• Bleu (+) et Blanc (-) pour l’humidité relative.<br />

Etalonnage de l’humidité relative<br />

Les instruments sont étalonnés en usine et donc prêts à marcher. Dans le<br />

CDRom dont les instruments sont dotés il y a la procédure d’étalonnage<br />

du capteur d’humidité relative. Cette procédure est détaillée dans ‘l’aide en<br />

ligne’.<br />

Aucune procédure est disponible pour la température.<br />

Utiliser le module d’interface <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1T pour brancher les modèles<br />

<strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> et <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.CAL au PC: le modèle est dotée d’un connecteur<br />

USB type A à brancher à la porte USB du PC et de boite à borne à quatre<br />

pôles pour la connexion du transmetteur.<br />

Avant de brancher le module au PC, il faut installer les drivers USB: ne brancher<br />

pas le module au PC avant l’installation des drivers. Plusieurs renseignements<br />

sont disponibles sur la guide inclue dans le CDRom dont l’instrument<br />

est équipé.<br />

Les fi ls à brancher sont le Rouge (positif d’alimentation), le Gris (négatif d’alimentation),<br />

le Jaune (Tx) et le Vert (Rx) selon l’illustration suivante.<br />

Voilà le dessous de la bôite à borne: pour mieux comprendre la position des<br />

AISI 304 con grado di protezione IP65, è adatto per essere impiegato<br />

Calibrazione dell’umidità relativa<br />

Gli strumenti escono di fabbrica già calibrati e pronti all’uso. Nel CDRom fornito<br />

con gli strumenti è presente una procedura di calibrazione del sensore di<br />

umidità relativa. La procedura è descritta in dettaglio nell’help in linea.<br />

Non è prevista nessuna procedura di calibrazione per la temperatura.<br />

Per collegare i modelli <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> e <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.1 al PC, utilizzare il modulo<br />

di interfaccia <strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL: il modulo è dotato di connettore USB tipo<br />

A da collegare alla porta USB del PC e di morsettiera a quattro poli per la<br />

connessione del trasmettitore.<br />

Prima di collegare il modulo al PC, è necessario installare i driver USB: collegare<br />

il modulo al PC solo dopo aver installato i driver. Per i dettagli si segua<br />

la guida inclusa nel CDRom fornito a corredo dello strumento.<br />

Relative humidity calibration<br />

The instruments are supplied factory calibrated and ready to use. The CDRom<br />

supplied with the instruments includes a relative humidity calibration procedure.<br />

The online help describes this procedure in detail.<br />

No procedure exists for temperature calibration.<br />

To connect <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong> and <strong>HD</strong><strong>9817T1</strong>.1 models to your PC, use the<br />

<strong>HD</strong>9817T.1CAL interface module: the module is equipped with a USB<br />

type A connector for your PC USB port connection as well as a 4-pole<br />

terminal board to connect the transmitter.<br />

Before connecting the module to your PC, you need to install the USB drivers:<br />

don’t connect the module to your PC before installing the drivers.<br />

For further details, see the guide in the CDRom which is supplied with the<br />

instrument.<br />

Please connect the Red (power supply positive), Grey (power supply negative),<br />
