I – The unit does not switch on:
(indicator light not on)
II – The unit switches on but nothing works:
(including manual override):
9 – FAULTS AND INCIDENTS
Incidents Causes and solutions
The voltage to the tractor’s socket must be 12V.
- Ensure that the emergency stop button is not pressed in.
- Check that the 7.5 A fuse inside the control unit has not blown.
- Check that there is no humidity in any of the units.
Check the connector between the control unit and the unit of the frame (at the level of the plug,
fig. A, pull the 4 plugs with some universal pliers to check they are interlocked).
- Ensure that the hydraulic system is engaged and that the tractor has sufficient oil.
- Check that the oil is circulating in the correct direction (check valve) and that the limiters are not
closed.
- Ensure that the check valve is not jammed (by exerting significant pressure on the push pull on
the check valve side).
- Check that the 9 solenoid valve connectors are tight.
- Ensure that each solenoid valve connector switches on at the same time as the low pressure
solenoid valve (see example, fig. B).
- Check that there is no humidity in any of the units.
III – Only manual override works: Check the functioning of the 5 sensors, they must switch on when a metallic object passes in front
of the end (fig. C).
IV – One of the sensors is not working: Check that the connector between the sensor and the extension piece is tight (fig. D).
- Check that the connector between the extension piece and the branch box is tight (fig. E).
- Temporarily replace with another sensor extension piece to determine whether or not it is the
V – All of the sensors are working but when the left side is
unfolded, sensor no.1 does not come into operation:
VI – All the sensors are working but when the right side is
unfolded, sensor no.2 does not come into operation:
VII – All the sensors are working but when the left side is
folded, sensor no.4 does not come into operation:
VIII – All the sensors are working but when the right side is
folded, sensor no.5 does not come into operation:
IX – The unit is not working at all and neither is manual
override:
extension piece or the sensor that is faulty.
Use manual override to position the left side unfolded in the stop position (fig. F).
Then set sensor no.1 to the centre of the screw and 2mm from its end (fig. I).
Use manual override to position the right side unfolded in the stop position (fig. F).
Then set sensor no.2 to the centre of the screw and 2 mm from its end (fig. I).
Use manual override to position the left side folded in the stop position (fig. G).
Then set sensor no.4 to the centre of the screw and 2mm from its end (fig. I).
Use manual override to position the right side folded in the stop position (fig. H).
Then set sensor no.5 to the centre of the screw and 2 mm from its end (fig. I).
Engage the hydraulic system, then (using a thin screwdriver), press the end of the “x” EV + EVBP
electromagnetic coil to control manually (fig. J).
