Flanked by the three principal buildings, this spacious courtyard offers the opportunity to hold open-air events and performances. It is paved with various sorts of stones using a
specially created style of laying to reproduce the route de Trèves as it was in Roman times.
New life has been breathed into these dignified old buildings. With its impeccable restoration of the Neumünster Abbey, the Ministry of Public Works has created a place which will
enrich the cultural life of the greater region and which provides another fine attraction to the lower city suburb of the Grund.
