General Information & Safety<br />
WARNINGS<br />
• Never leave child unattended.<br />
• Always use restraint system – see section 2 for instruction.<br />
• Never use for a child able to sit up unaided.<br />
• Fall Hazard<br />
1) Child’s movement can slide the Rocker.<br />
2) Never place the Rocker on countertops, tables or other elevated surfaces.<br />
It is dangerous to use this product on an elevated surface.<br />
Use only on the floor.<br />
• Suffocation Hazard<br />
Never use on a soft surface (bed, sofa, cushion), as the Rocker may tip over<br />
and cause suffocation.<br />
• Do not lift product and child by using the toy bar. Use the carry straps<br />
provided – see section 9.<br />
• The child should be clear of moving parts while making adjustments.<br />
IMPORTANT-DANGER: It is important that great care is taken to ensure that<br />
children are kept well clear when folding or unfolding the product. Finger<br />
traps and scissoring actions are unavoidable during these operations.<br />
• Remove all tags and packaging before use.<br />
• To avoid danger of suffocation, remove any plastic cover before using<br />
this product.<br />
Any plastic cover should be destroyed or kept away from children.<br />
• Do not use this Rocker if it is damaged or broken.<br />
• NOTE: This Rocker is designed only for use for children from birth to 20 lb<br />
(9.0 kg), approximately 0 - 6 months.<br />
It is not recommended for children who can sit up by themselves.<br />
A child’s ability to sit up will vary from individual to individual.<br />
It is your ultimate responsibility to exercise common sense at all times when<br />
determining the appropriate age and weight limitations of this product.<br />
• Never use this product as a car seat.<br />
• See section 7 of this manual for instruction on use of the restraint system.<br />
• Check to ensure that the side adjustment latches are closed and secure before<br />
each use. Do not use unless all fasteners are properly secured and the safety<br />
harness is secured around the infant’s body.<br />
• Caution – Remove the battery from the vibrating soother before storing the<br />
Rocker for a prolonged period of time.<br />
MAINTENANCE<br />
Only replacement parts supplied and fitted by Maclaren should be used. Use of<br />
parts not supplied or fitted by Maclaren will affect both the safety of the product<br />
and your warranty.<br />
WASHING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS<br />
Clean frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Do not<br />
use abrasives.<br />
Hand wash the seat, shoulder straps, padded crotch strap, head hugger and toy set<br />
in accordance with the care label attached to the seat fabric. Hang or lie flat to dry.<br />
The hood fabric and toy bar cover may be sponged lightly using a damp cloth and<br />
a mild detergent.<br />
Dry thoroughly before reuse. Do not fold or store the product while wet or in a damp<br />
environment as this can cause mildew to form.<br />
Close the adjustable strips on the carry strap during washing.<br />
