3. RELATIONS COMMUNAUTÉ– AUTORITÉS GOUVERNEMENTALES
Ontario – Francophonie
18 juin 2013 - Francophones looking to read up on some of the National Capital Commission’s
studies on a potential Kettle Island bridge were out of luck on Tuesday: Three reports had only
been published in English. And then there were none. The commission’s rules, and the
parameters of the study, indicated that all documents were to be published in both official
languages, spokesperson Mario Tremblay told the Citizen in an email. But, Tremblay wrote, the
consultant hired for the studies, Roche and Genivar, wanted to post the studies as soon as
possible to provide access for people wishing to participate in an ongoing online consultation.
