Design Karim Rashid<br />
Karim Rashid is one of the most prolific designers of<br />
his generation. His 3,000 designs in production, over<br />
300 awards, and work in over 35 countries attest<br />
to Rashid’s design legend. Rashid’s diversity allows<br />
him the ability to cross-pollinate ideas, materials,<br />
behaviors, aesthetics from one typology to the next,<br />
crossing boundaries and broadening consumer<br />
horizons.<br />
Karim Rashid est l’un des designers les plus proli fiques<br />
de sa génération avec plus de 3000 créations en<br />
prod uction et plus de 300 récompenses. Il a travaillé<br />
dans plus de 35 pays où il est considéré comme une<br />
légende. Sa polyvalence lui permet de croiser idées,<br />
matériaux, comportements, esthétique d’un type à<br />
un autre, élargissant ainsi les horizons et les limites<br />

A sculptural body of rotationally molded polyethylene with an opal glossy<br />
finish creates a free-flowing, curvaceous form that produces a dramatic<br />
effect when illuminated. Bold and dynamic, its unique diffuser encapsulates<br />
Karim Rashid’s contemporary and stylized approach. A painted aluminum<br />
base elevates the structure allowing its shapely contours to be viewed at all<br />
angles.<br />
Une sculpture en polyéthylène moulé par rotation avec une finition opale<br />
glacée, crée une forme flottante toute en rondeurs qui produit un effet<br />
théatrale losrqu’elle est allumée. Audacieux et dynamique, son diffuseur<br />
unique capture l’approche stylisée et contemporaine de Karim Rashid.<br />
Une base en aluminium élève la structure, permettant aux courbes d’être<br />
appréciées sous tous les angles.<br />
