We salvaged the cuttings from
organic cotton textile production,
shredded them and turned them
back into soft cotton fi bres.

RE-CREATED
We added fi bres made from locally
recycled plastic bottles to obtain the
cotton and polyester blend.
We spun the blended fi bres into fi ne
yarn to make the fabrics.

grandes limites dans leurs droits et libertés. Les salaires sont bien trop bas pour survivre avec, les journées de travail sont
extrêmement longues et les conditions de travail sont dangereuses. Les travailleurs sont rarement libres d’adhérer à des
syndicats et d’améliorer leur situation.
Les membres de la Fair Wear Foundation, travaillent à améliorer ces conditions de travail en appliquant les huits normes qui
sont au coeur du Code de Conduite du Travail.
Millions of garment workers around the world face poor working conditions and limits to their rigths and freedoms. Wages
are too low to survive on, work days are extremely long and conditions are unsafe. Workers are rarely free to join unions
and improve their own situation.
Fair Wear Foundation member brands work towards improving conditions by implementing the eight standards at the heart of
the Code of Labour Practices.
In tutto il mondo, milioni di lavoratori nell’industria tessile affrontano cattive condizioni di lavoro nonché gravi limitazioni dei loro
diritti e delle libertà. I salari sono troppo bassi per una vita dignitosa, i giorni di lavoro sono estremamente lunghi e pericolosi.
Raramente i lavoratori sono liberi di aderire a sindacati per cercare di migliorare la loro situazione.

Workers have a right to safe and
healthy working conditions. That
means accessible fi re exits and
proper safety gear. And if they need
to work with hazardous materials or
equipment, they need to know how.

Workers have legal rights to a
contract and certain benefi ts, like
pension payments, social security,
insurances and severence pay.
Employers need to respect those
