The device should not beswitched on when empty.21Insert the knife applianceInsert the knife appliance into the glass from below and turn ituntil the positioning aids slot into place. Press the knife applianceagainst the glass and turn the bottom ring clockwise until you hearit click. The knife appliance can be removed by following thesesteps in a reversed order.ENAttach the mixing glassThe blender has been fitted with a safety mechanism that is activatedwhen the glass is in contact with the base. Thus, when placing theglass on the base ensure that a quiet clicking sound of the micro sensorscan be heard (the locking device is then unlocked). The glasscan be placed on the base in 4 positions (respectively at a 90° anglefrom each other). Fill the blender with ingredients and put the lid ontop. Make sure that the shape of the lid fits on the shape of the glass.Turn the device on / off, add more ingredientsPlug the power plug in. Adjust the switch to the desired setting orhold it on the «pulse» setting. Ingredients can be filled via the openingin the lid or turn the device off and remove the lid. If an airbubble should shape around the knife, turn off the device, lift themixing glass from the base and stir the contents to allow the air todisappear.
