C’est<strong>de</strong> c<strong>et</strong>te famille qu’est issu le célèbre jurisconsultePierre Hévin » 5KERVILER René, Répertoire <strong>de</strong> biobibliographiebr<strong>et</strong>onne, Rennes 1904°-Jean Hévin, quitte l’Ir<strong>la</strong>n<strong>de</strong> en 1537. Se fixe à Arras.Il est le bisaïeul du jurisconsulte.-Pierre 1 er Hévin, fils du précé<strong>de</strong>nt, Sr <strong>de</strong> Millery,homme <strong>de</strong> l<strong>et</strong>tres, recteur <strong>de</strong> StMaixent en Poitou. Semarie le 12 avril 1586 à Ma<strong>de</strong>lene Texier, fille d’un avocatà Poitiers. Il a 2 fils : un célèbre Jésuite & Pierrejurisconsulte.1-Pierre Hévin, fils du précé<strong>de</strong>nt, °Rennes 11.2.1676Conseiller au Présidial11-Jacques-Jean Hévin, fils du précé<strong>de</strong>nt, °Rennes11.8.1705 †29.8.1758 Conseiller au Présidial en 1730.Maire <strong>de</strong> Rennes en 1743. Il joua un rôle dans l’affaired’Aiguillon-<strong>la</strong> Chabotais »2-fils Hévin jésuite <strong>et</strong> prédicateur <strong>de</strong> talentDe nombreuses références Hévin in Ogée, Dictionnaire<strong>de</strong> Br<strong>et</strong>agne, qui concernent principalement Pierre Hévin1646-1729 avocat à Rennes, à cause <strong>de</strong> ses écrits surles rentes féodales.Selon les mémoires <strong>de</strong> Duparc-Poul<strong>la</strong>in, les Hévin <strong>de</strong>scen<strong>de</strong>nt<strong>de</strong> Jean, d’une famille d’Ir<strong>la</strong>n<strong>de</strong>, qui vints’établir à Arras en 1537 où il épousa Marguerite Morieuxdont Pierre 1 er Hévin. Avant les 17 e il y avait déjà<strong>de</strong>s Hévin en Br<strong>et</strong>agne. D’où étaient-ils venus ? Etaientilsun rameau <strong>de</strong>puis longtemps détaché <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> familledont nous nous occupons ? Nous ne ouvons répondre àces questions, <strong>et</strong> nous nous bornons à mentionner ce faitsingulier <strong>de</strong><strong>la</strong> coexistence dans l’évêché <strong>de</strong> Rennes <strong>de</strong> 2familles portant unmême nom peu répandu, ayant probablement<strong>la</strong> même origine exotique, en paraisssant pas seconnaître <strong>et</strong> restant absoluement étrangères l’une àl’autre.
