PRODUKTINFORMATION SHM 930
Sie haben sich für das Schwanenhalsmikrofon SHM 930 von
beyerdynamic entschieden. Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen.
Nehmen Sie sich bitte einige Minuten Zeit und lesen Sie diese
Produkt information vor Inbetriebnahme auf merk sam durch.
Sicherheit
Schützen Sie das Mikrofon vor Feuchtigkeit, Herunter -
fallen und Schlag. Sie könnten sich oder andere verletzen
bzw. das Mikrofon beschädigen.
Bei der Installation achten Sie darauf, dass sich niemand
am Schwanenhalsmikrofon verletzen kann, z.B. ins Auge
bohren.
Zum Ausrichten des Schwanenhalsmikrofons und zum
Ver mei den einer Überdehnung und frühzeitigen Ver -
schleiß erscheinungen, fassen Sie das Mikrofon immer am
unteren oder oberen flexiblen Schwanenhals an, niemals
am Mikrofonkopf. Der Schwanen hals darf nur bis max. 90
Grad gebogen werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das an das SHM 930 angeschlossene
Kabel so verlegt wird, dass niemand darüber stolpern
und sich verletzen kann.
Anwendung
Aufgrund der Nierencharakteristik ist das Schwanen hals -
mikrofon sehr rückkopplungsarm und gewährleistet beste
Sprachver ständ lichkeit. Es ist daher für die Anwendungsbe -
reiche Konferenz, Beschallung und Studiotechnik (Rundfunk)
hervorragend geeignet.
Montage und Anschluss
In die Tischplatte wird zum Beispiel die Halterung ZSH 20 eingebaut.
Das Mikrofon wird in die Halterung ZSH 20 eingesetzt
und an den Verstärkereingang angeschlossen (Pin 1:
Masse, Pin 2: NF+, Pin 3: NF-).
Zum Betrieb wird eine Phan tom speisung zwischen 11 und 52 V
benötigt.
Funktionen
Pegelabsenkung
Im Mikrofonkopf verfügt das SHM 930 über eine schaltbare
Pegelabsenkung auf der Platine. Im Lieferzustand ist keine
Pegelabsenkung geschaltet (Schalter auf 0 dB).
Die schaltbare Pegelabsenkung erlaubt es, die Aussteuer -
grenze um 15 dB hinaufzusetzen, um ggf. auch im Nahbe -
reich von Schallquellen verzerrungsfreie Aufnahmen machen
zu können. Zum Beispiel bei sehr lauten Rednern oder bei
der Abnahme von Instrumenten sollte der Schalter auf -15 dB
gestellt werden.
Schrauben Sie die Mikrofonkapsel entgegen dem Uhrzeiger -
sinn ab. Der Schalter für die Pegelanpassung befindet sich

auf der Unterseite der Platine. Siehe hierzu auch Abb. 1 und
Abb. 2.
Zum Einstellen des Schalters verwenden Sie die Spitze eines
Kugelschreibers, einer Pinzette oder Büroklammer.

Tiefenabsenkung
Im Speiseteil verfügt das SHM 930 über eine schaltbare
Tiefenabsenkung. Im Lieferzustand ist keine Tiefenab sen -
kung geschaltet.
Die einstellbare Tiefenabsenkung reduziert die Empfindlich -
keit gegenüber Rumpel- und Windgeräuschen. Außerdem
wird durch Einschalten der Tiefenabsenkung der bei Richt -
mikrofonen auftretende Nahbesprechungseffekt (Mikrofon -
abstand unter 10 cm) kompensiert.
Lösen Sie die drei Schrauben am oberen Ende des
Verstärkers, um Zugang zum Schalter zu erhalten. Achten Sie
darauf, dass Sie dabei keine Kabel abreißen.

Pflege
Bei Bedarf können Sie das Schwanenhalsmikrofon reinigen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass beim Reinigen keine Flüssigkeit in die
Mikrofonkapsel oder in das Gehäuse dringt.
Bei leichten Verschmutzungen wie Fingerabdrücke oder
Staub nehmen Sie ein feuchtes Tuch und einen flüssigen, milden
Haushaltsreiniger. Vor der Reinigung muss die Ober -
fläche gründlich angefeuchtet werden. Zum Schluss mit

einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Bei Verschmutzungen durch Mineralöle und -fette sowie tierische
und pflanzliche Fette können Sie Spiritus,
Isopropylalkohol oder Reinigungsbenzin verwenden.
Verschmutzungen durch Kugelschreiber, Farbband oder
Kohlepapier behandeln Sie am besten mit Isopropylalkohol
oder Spiritus.
Service
Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an autorisiertes Fach per -
sonal. Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall das Mikrofon selbst zu
reparieren, Sie könnten sonst alle Garantieansprüche verlieren.

PRODUCT INFORMATION SHM 930
Thank you for selecting the SHM 930 gooseneck microphone.
Please take some time to read carefully through this product
information before using the microphone.
Safety Information
Protect the microphone from moisture and sudden
impacts. You could either injure yourself or others or damage
the microphone.
Take care that you do not injure yourself on the gooseneck
microphone e.g. poke it into your eye.
To align the gooseneck microphone and to avoid twisting
it too far and causing premature wear, always grip the
microphone by the top or bottom flexible section never by
the microphone head. The gooseneck must be bent no
further than an angle of 90 ° maximum.
Make sure that the microphone cable connected to the
SHM 930 is laid so that it does not present a trip hazard.
Application
This gooseneck microphone features a cardioid polar pattern,
high gain before feedback and excellent intelligibility of
speech. It is suitable for conferencing, sound reinforcement
and studio (broadcasting) applications.
Installation and Connection
For example, install the ZSH 20 shock mount into the desk
top. Put the microphone into the ZSH 20 and connect it to the
input of an amplifier. (Pin 1: ground, Pin 2: AF+, Pin 3: AF-).
For powering you will need a phantom power between 11 and
52 V.
Functions
Pre-attenuation
Inside the microphone capsule the SHM 930 provides a
switchable pre-attenuation. The microphone is delivered
with the pre-attenuation switched off (switch to 0 dB).
The switchable pre-attenuation pad allows to increase the
maximum SPL capability by 15 dB for distortion-free close-in
recordings. For example for very loud speakers or for miking
instruments, the pre-attenuation pad should be switched to
the -15 dB position.
Unscrew the microphone capsule by turning it anti-clockwise.
The pre-attenuation pad is on the underside of the circuit
board. Please refer also to the pictures 1 and 2.
Use the tip of a Biro ® , tweezers or paper clip to switch the
pre-attenuation on (switch to -15 dB).

Bass roll-off filter
Inside the pre-amplifier the SHM 930 provides a switchable
bass roll-off filter. The microphone is delivered with the bass
roll-off filter switched off.
The switchable bass roll-off filter reduces the sensitivity
towards rumble or wind noise. Furthermore, the proximity
effect is eliminated which can occur with directional microphones
(if the distance is less than 4 inches (10 cm)).
Unscrew the three screws at the top end of the pre-amplifier
to access the switch. Take care that you do not tear off any
cables.

Maintenance
If necessary you can clean the gooseneck microphone. Make
sure not to allow any liquids (water or cleaning agent) to
enter the microphone capsule or housing.
When the microphone is slightly dirty (finger prints or dust)
use a soft, damp cloth and mild liquid cleaning agent. Before
cleaning the surface it must be moistened thoroughly.
Afterwards it must be cleaned with a damp cloth.
For dirt caused by mineral oils and fats, animal or vegetable
fats use spirit, isopropyl alcohol or benzine.
For dirt caused by ballpoint pens, typewriter ribbons or carbon
paper use isopropyl alcohol or spirit.

Service
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the microphone
should be returned to your beyerdynamic dealer. Do not try
to repair the microphone yourself, as this could invalidate
the guarantee.

Nous vous félicitons pour l’achat du microphone à col de
cygne de beyerdynamic et vous remercions de votre confiance.
Veuillez lire attentivement les informations produit suivantes
avant la mise en marche du microphone.
Sécurité
Veillez à protéger le microphone de l’humidité, des chutes
et des chocs. De mauvaises utilisations peuvent engendrer
des blessures et en outre endommager le microphone.
Soyez vigilant lors de l’installation du microphone à col
de cygne afin d’éviter toute blessure (surtout au niveau
des yeux).
Lorsque vous orientez le col de cygne, veillez à manipuler
le microphone par le bas ou par le haut du col de cygne,
mais ne manipulez jamais la tête du microphone. Pour
éviter tout sur-allongement et toute usure prématurée
du col de cygne, seule une flexion de 90 degrés max est
recommandée.
Veillez à ce que le câble raccordé au microphone SHM 930
soit placé de manière telle qu'on ne puisse pas trébucher
ou se blesser.
Utilisation
Grâce à sa directivité cardioïde, le microphone à col de
cygne est peu sensible au larsen (accrochage arrière) et
garantie une très bonne intelligibilité de la parole. De ce fait
il est parfaitement adapté aux champs d’utilisation suivants:
conférence, sonorisation et prise de son dans les studios de
radio.
Montage et raccordement
Le pied de support ZSH 20 peut être par exemple monté sur
le plateau d’une table. Le microphone sera ensuite inséré
dans le pied de support ZSH 20 et sera raccordé à l’entrée de
l’amplificateur (Pin 1 : masse, Pin 2 : B.F. +, Pin 3 : B.F.-).
Une alimentation fantôme entre 11 et 52 V est nécessaire.
Fonctions
Abaisser le niveau
Dans la tête du microphone le modèle SHM 930 dispose sur
le circuit imprimé d’un atténuateur commutable qui abaisse
le niveau d’entrée. Dans le produit sorti d’usine aucun
atténuateur n’est commuté (commutateur sur 0 dB).
L’atténuateur commutable permet d’augmenter la puissance
limite accessible à 15 dB afin de pouvoir faire des prises de
son exemptes de distorsion et si nécessaire à proximité de
source sonore. Par exemple, dans le cas d’orateurs parlant
très fort ou d’enregistrement d’instruments, il faudra régler
le commutateur sur 15dB.

Dévissez la capsule du micro dans le sens contraire d’une
aiguille d’une montre. Le commutateur sert à régler le
niveau d’entrée se situe sur le dessous du circuit imprimé
(voir aussi illustrations 1 et 2).
Pour pouvoir régler le commutateur, utilisez la mine d’un
stylo, une pince à épiler ou un trombone.

Atténuation des basses
Au niveau de l’alimentation, le modèle SHM 930 dispose
d’un dispositif commutable permettant d’atténuer les basses.
Dans le produit sorti d’usine aucun atténuateur n’est commuté.
L’atténuation réglable des basses permet de réduire les
bruits de vent et les ronronnements. De plus l’atténuateur
de basses d’un microphone directionnel permet de compenser
l’effet de proximité (lorsque la source sonore se trouve à
moins de 10 cm).
Pour accéder au commutateur il faut dévisser les trois vis se
trouvant sur la partie d’extrémité supérieure de l’amplificateur.
Veillez à n’endommager aucun câble lors de cette
manipulation.

Entretien
Il est possible de nettoyer le microphone à col de cygne si
cela s’avère nécessaire. Lors de l’entretien, veillez à ce qu’aucun
liquide ne s’infiltre ni dans la capsule du microphone ni dans
le corps de celui-ci.
Pour nettoyer de légères salissures comme des empreintes
de doigt ou de la poussière, vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon
humide. Si nécessaire vous pouvez ajouter un produit de
nettoyage doux. Avant de passer le produit nettoyant,
veillez à e que la surface soit bien humidifiée. Pour finir
essuyer avec un chiffon humide.
Pour enlever des tâches d’huile minérale, ou de graisses
végétales ou animales, vous pouvez utiliser de l’alcool, de
l’alcool d’isopropyle ou de l’alcool à brûler (dénaturé).
Pour enlever des tâches d’encre, nous vous conseillons d’utiliser
de l’alcool d’isopropyle ou de l’alcool à brûler (dénaturé).
Service après-vente
En cas de dommage, veuillez vous adresser à un technicien
spécialisé. N’ouvrez pas le microphone pour le réparer vousmême,
vous risquez ainsi de perdre vos droits de garantie.
