The original eight-foot-high wall surrounding the garage<br />
had been lowered at some point between 1925 and the<br />
1950s. As part of the restoration project, both original<br />
and reproduction bricks were used to rebuild the wall<br />
to its 1910 height. In order to present the most accurate<br />
façade possible, original bricks were used on the side of<br />
the wall facing the street, and reproduction bricks were<br />
placed on the side facing the garage courtyard.<br />
