Giovanni Viola was born in Modica, Sicily, in 1981, where je lives and works.<br />
A special interest in art and figurative representation, since his early age, grows in parallel with his<br />
academic career. He graduates with a major in Law from Messina University in 2008, but meanwhile he<br />
does not neglect his art education visiting exhibitions and attending cultural events in Rome, Turin,<br />
Florence and even spending one entire year in London. The practice of drawing and painting techniques<br />
with oil and pastels becomes little by little a professional choice which perfectly applies to his favourite<br />
subjects, that is Sicilian landscapes from his home land.<br />
His exhibition activity intensifies in recent years with solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and<br />
participation to international art fairs.
