le robot créateur et son complice
Ce nouveau robot avait pour seule contrainte d’être lumineux.
Son corps, peint en argent mat est constitué d’un présentoir pour flyers que j’ai
découpé et plié. A l’intérieur se trouve une ampoule. Sur son ventre il y a deux
morceaux en plastique (l’un rouge, l’autre orange) issus de phares arrières et de
clignotants de voiture pour laisser filtrer la lumière.
Sur son dos est fixé un interrupteur récupéré sur une moto pour enfant, une pièce
de plastique orange, un petit aimant cache la vis qui maintient l’interrupteur, j’ai
également fixé un morceau de mètre ruban en métal. Ses deux bras, sont un
manche à balai en chrome fixé au corps grâce à des colliers de serrage.
Sa tête est constituée d’une vieille horloge dont j’ai découpé la base (ressort) en
deux parties, l’une pour son cou, l’autre pour son antenne, à l’arrière est fixé une
pièce de plastique récupérée du camion de pompier décorée d’une carte
électronique et d’un écran de téléphone qui fait miroir, de vis, d’un gros strass. Le
tout est fixé sur un morceau de métal provenant du présentoir peint en orange.
Son compagnon, est un pinceau qui se nomme E3 car la personne à laquelle est
destiné 6779-2 est une artiste. E3 tient lui-même un petit pinceau jaune dans sa
main gauche.
The only requirement for this robot was that he emit light.
His body, painted in silver, was crafted from a flyer box inside which I mounted a
light-bulb. On his belly I fixed car light covers (one red and one orange). On his back
I placed an interrupter switch. Both arms are made from part of a chrome
broomstick handle. His head is made from an old clock which was mounted on a
spring. I cut the spring in to two parts; one for the neck, the other for his antenna.
At the back of his head I attached a round piece of metal recovered from a toy fire
engine and decorated it with an electronic card, a phone screen, which acts as a
mirror, screws and a large rhinestone. The whole lot is fixed on to a piece of metal
from the distribution box, which I painted orange.
His companion is a paintbrush called E3 because the person for whom I created
6779-2 is an artist. E3 himself holds a little yellow paintbrush in his left hand.
