Inside the black Friars’ convent, there is the church of St.<br />
James of the Romita or Mandriole, formally dedicated to the<br />
blessed Jean Maris, a hermit who lived here in the thirteenth<br />
century.<br />
The main façade of the church has a porch with three arches,<br />
with quadripartite vaults; this element helps to lighten the<br />
brick façade. On the upper floor there are three windows<br />
and one sundial.<br />
À l’intérieur du couvent des Frères noirs, il y a l’église<br />
de Saint Jacques de la Romita ou des Mandriole,<br />
autrefois dédiée au bienheureux Jean Maris, un ermite<br />
qui a vécu ici au XIIIe siècle.<br />
La façade principale de l’église présente un porche à<br />
trois arcs, avec des voûte quadripartites ; cet élément<br />
contribue à alléger la façade en briques. À l’étage<br />
supérieur il y a trois fenêtres et un cadran solaire.
