• Chop the food to be mixed into small pieces.<br />

• Fill the mixer vessel (3) with the food to be mixed (max. 1.5 l). Never fill with hot<br />

food or hard ingredients such as potatoes, ice, coffee beans, nuts, and so on.<br />

• Position the lid (4) with the pouring aperture facing to the right and then lock this<br />

in place by turning it anticlockwise.<br />

• Close the filling slot seal (5).<br />

• Mount the mixing bowl (3) as described in paragraph 6.<br />

• Extra ingredients (e.g. seasoning) can also be added through filling slot in the<br />

mixer lid. Switch off the appliance.<br />

Mixing bowl:<br />

• The lid of the mixing device (19) must be mounted as described in paragraph 6.<br />

• The mixing bowl must be mounted as described in paragraph 1.<br />

• Press the metal knife (15) or the plastic knife (16) downwards as far as possible<br />

without the utensil holder.<br />

• When grating/cutting attachments are used, place the desired utensil on to the<br />

utensil holder (14).<br />

• Never use more than one utensil at a time.<br />

• Position the lid of the bowl (8) as described under points 4 and 5<br />

• Use the filler (17) to press the food (max. 1.5 l) into the filling slot. Exert a sufficient<br />

degree of pressure on the filler. The appliance must be switched on only<br />

with the filler (17) mounted into place.<br />

Putting into function<br />

• Connect the appliance to a 230 V/50Hz socket.<br />

• Interval switching (P): turn the appliance switch to the left at brief and regular<br />

intervals several times. By doing so, the result of the operation can be checked<br />

gradually.<br />

Note: The cutting and grinding attachments are located in the accessory drawer<br />

(20) under the machine.<br />
