Il y a tout juste soixante ans, les Ortiz<br />
cherchaient un nom moderne à donner<br />
à leurs glaces. Lors d’une conversation,<br />
un associé des Ortiz parle de son chien,<br />
un fox-terrier nommé « Miko ». Ce nom<br />
jeune et moderne marque les esprits, il<br />
semble idéal pour une marque de glaces.<br />
La marque Miko est née !<br />
Maillot jaune, équipes, caravanes… Pendant<br />
les années 1970-1980, Miko a marqué<br />
l’histoire du Tour de France. De 1971 à<br />
1983, Miko et le maillot jaune ne faisaient<br />
même qu’un. Sur les étapes, certains<br />
spectateurs encourageaient le leader et<br />
criaient : « Allez, Miko ! », quand ils ne<br />
connaissaient pas son vrai nom… Tout un<br />
symbole.<br />
