The <strong>National</strong> <strong>Innovation</strong> <strong>Award</strong> is given to recognize<br />
innovative and creative efforts towards generating simple<br />
new ideas, simple new innovations and products by<br />
harnessing science and technology towards impacting<br />
wealth creation and societal well being.<br />
Anugerah Inovasi adalah untuk mengiktiraf usaha<br />
inovasi dan kreativiti yang menjana idea, ciptaan<br />
dan produk baru yang mudah dan yang<br />
berasaskan sains dan teknologi serta<br />
menyumbang kepada penambahan nilai<br />
kekayaan serta kesejahteraan masyarakat.

• Product <strong>Innovation</strong><br />
Any Malaysian citizen who have created a product which has commercial<br />
value or with commercialization potential and must have impact on society.<br />
• Inovasi Produk<br />
Terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia yang telah berjaya<br />
menghasilkan produk dan mempunyai status komersial atau<br />
berkeupayaan menembusi pasaran dan ciptaan produk tersebut<br />
mesti memberi impak kepada masyarakat.<br />
• Grass Root <strong>Innovation</strong><br />
Any Malaysian citizens who have innovated or created a simple new<br />
product or innovation or generated simple new idea on his or her own<br />
initiative without the usage of any public funding and work place facilities.<br />
• Inovasi Akar Umbi<br />
Terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia yang telah berjaya<br />
menghasilkan ciptaan atau inovasi atau pengetahuan baru atas<br />
inisiatif sendiri tanpa menggunakan dana awam dan kemudahan<br />
tempat kerja.<br />
• School <strong>Innovation</strong><br />
Open to all government school students who have created simple new<br />
product or process. <strong>Innovation</strong> must consist the element of originality,<br />
innovation, creativity, applicability and functionality.<br />
• Inovasi Sekolah<br />
Terbuka kepada semua pelajar sekolah kerajaan yang telah berjaya<br />
mencipta sesuatu produk atau proses . Inovasi mesti mempunyai<br />
elemen keaslian, daya cipta, boleh diguna pakai dan berfungsi.

• Product <strong>Innovation</strong><br />
Cheque amounting RM50,000, trophy, certificate for champion<br />
‘Certificate of Participation’ and cheque amounting to RM1,000 as consolation<br />
prize for the finalist.<br />
• Inovasi Produk<br />
Cek bernilai RM50,000, trofi dan sijil bagi pemenang<br />
Cek bernilai RM1,000 sebagai hadiah saguhati dan sijil penyertaan<br />
untuk finalis<br />

MOSTI<br />
<strong>Innovation</strong> qualified for the final round and showcased at the national level in 2006<br />
& 2007 are not eligible to compete.<br />
Inovasi yang telah berjaya memasuki peringkat akhir Anugerah Inovasi<br />
Peringkat Kebangsaan pada tahun 2006 dan 2007 tidak layak menyertai<br />
anugerah pada tahun ini.
