for the financial year ended 31 December 2005
During the financial year, the Company repurchased its own shares amounting to 76,800 (2004: 21,900) ordinary shares at the
average price of approximately RM0.95 (2004: RM1.10) per share from the open market on Bursa Malaysia Securities. These
repurchases were financed by internally generated funds. These shares repurchased are being held as treasury shares as allowed
under Section 67A of Companies Act, 1965. None of these treasury shares has been sold.
As at 31 December 2005, the number of outstanding shares in issue and which are all fully paid is 231,957,933 (net of 388,700
treasury shares) (2004: 232,034,733 [net of 311,900 treasury shares]) ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.
