Easing Traffic Flow<br />

<strong>PLUS</strong> is currently carrying out a Fourth Lane Widening<br />

project at selected stretches along its highways. The widening<br />

project covers the Rawang-Sungai Buloh (13 kilometres), Shah<br />

Alam-Sungai Buloh (16 kilometres), Bukit Lanjan-Jalan Duta<br />

(7 kilometres) and Nilai (U) Interchange-Port Dickson (27<br />

kilometres) stretches and will be fully completed by end 2014.<br />

Once completed, it will provide a better travel experience<br />

along the highways.<br />

For the latest traffic updates<br />

Highway users can now get the latest<br />

traffic updates on the <strong>PLUS</strong>-operated<br />

highways through its Twitter service at<br />

twitter.com/plustrafik.<br />

The twitter service informs highway<br />

users of the latest traffic updates on the<br />

North-South Expressway (NSE), ELITE<br />

highway, the NKVE, Federal Highway<br />

Route 2, the Secondlink highway, the<br />

Seremban-Port Dickson highway, the<br />

Penang Bridge and the Butterworth-<br />

Kulim Expressway.<br />

The <strong>PLUS</strong>Trafik Twitter page is currently<br />

being followed by more than 140,000<br />

users.<br />

Apart from Twitter, traffic updates<br />

are also available through electronic<br />

message boards at strategic locations<br />

along the highways. Highway users can<br />

also ask for the latest traffic updates<br />

through the toll-free <strong>PLUS</strong>Line (1800<br />

88 0000) which is available 24-hours a<br />

day.<br />
