(A) <strong>347</strong>PRICE CONTROL AND ANTI-PROFITEERING ACT 2011PRICE CONTROL AND ANTI-PROFITEERING (MECHANISM TO DETERMINEUNREASONABLY HIGH PROFIT) (NET PROFIT MARGIN) REGULATIONS 2014IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Price Control andAnti-Profiteering Act 2011 [Act 723], the Minister makes the following regulations:Citation1. These regulations may be cited as the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering(Mechanism to Determine Unreasonably High Profit) (Net Profit Margin)Regulations 2014.Mechanism to determine unreasonably high profit2. (1) The mechanism to determine that profit is unreasonably high for theperiod from 2 January 2015 to 31 March 2015 and 1 April 2015 to 30 June 2016 is thatthere shall be no increment in the net profit margin of any goods or services.(2) There is no increment in the net profit margin of any goods or servicesreferred to in subregulation (1)—(a)within the period from 2 January 2015 to 31 March 2015 if theformula in paragraph 2 of Part II of the Schedule is satisfied; and(b)within the period from 1 April 2015 to 30 June 2016 if the formulain paragraph 3 or 4 of Part III of the Schedule is satisfied.25
