4 Maklumat Prestasi dan Statistik Industri Pembekalan Elektrik di Malaysia 2014 Performance and Statistical Information on Electricity Supply Industry in Malaysia
langsung meningkatkan purata EAF. Purata Faktor Henti
Tugas Tidak Berjadual (Equivalent Unplanned Outage Factor -
EUOF) pula menurun berbanding tahun 2013, menggambarkan
Semenanjung Malaysia. Stesen jana kuasa base load iaitu
kitar padu dan arang batu masing-masing mencatatkan EUOF
sekitar 1.49% dan 7.40%. Bagaimanapun, kadar EUOF bagi
stesen jana kuasa arang batu masih lagi dianggap tinggi
akibat masalah boiler tube leak.
condenser filter choke, poor condenser vacuum, hot gas leak,
vibration dan peningkatan usia stesen jana kuasa.
SABAH Kecekapan Thermal stesen jana kuasa kitar padu
menunjukkan penurunan peratusan kecekapan thermal sekitar
unik, manakala IPP pula menghadapi gas curtailment. Bagi
stesen-stesen jana kuasa diesel milik IPP dan SESB masingmasing
menunjukkan peningkatan kecekapan thermal sekitar
2% dan 7%. Faktor utama meningkatnya kecekapan thermal
EAF stesen jana kuasa hidro milik
SESB menurun sekitar 2% kerana Unit 1 Stesen Jana Kuasa
Tenom Pangi sedang dinaiktaraf kepada kapasiti penjanaan
yang lebih tinggi. Purata Faktor Henti Tugas Tidak Berjadual
hayat operasinya. Oleh kerana Sabah juga menghadapi
isu keberterusan bekalan elektrik, kebanyakan stesen tidak
dapat dihentikan untuk senggaraan yang berkesan.
Prestasi Sistem Penghantaran
SEMENANJUNG MALAYSIA Dalam tempoh 2011 hingga
berbanding dua (2) insiden tahun 2013. Penurunan hanya satu
insiden sahaja berbanding 2013 menunjukkan prestasi sistem
penghantaran di Semenanjung tahun 2014 kekal berada di
tahap yang sama. Bagaimanapun, terdapat satu (1) insiden
lucutan beban dilaporkan pada 7 Mei 2014 berbanding tiada
insiden tahun 2013. Insiden lucutan beban tersebut telah
melibatkan enam (6) negeri di Semenanjung iaitu negeri
Kedah, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan dan
Johor.
Peninsular Malaysia. EUOF for base load power stations i.e
combined cycle and coal recorded are around 1.49% and 7.40%
each. However, EUOF for coal power stations is still considered
high due to boiler tube leak. Significant increase of EUOF are
recorded by open cycle power plants and conventional power
stations (oil / gas) and among the causes are condenser tube
leak, condenser filter choke, poor condenser vacuum, hot gas
leakage, vibration and aging.
SABAH Combined cycle power stations showed a 3%
decrease in thermal efficiency. For SESB, this problem is due
to the difficulty in obtaining spare parts for the generator, as
its design is unique, whereas IPPs are facing gas curtailment.
For diesel power stations owned by IPP and SESB, thermal
efficiency increased 2% and 7% respectively. The main factor
boosting the thermal efficiency is the replacement of diesel
SESB Sandakan Power Station with more efficient Kubota
Power Station. On average, the rate of EAF in Sabah declined
by about 2% to 11%, and mostly influenced by an average factor
of prolonged unscheduled downtime and gas rationing. EAF
for SESB hydro power stations decreased about 2% as Unit
1 Tenom Pangi Power Station is being upgraded to a higher
generation capacity. The Equivalent Unplanned Outage Factor
(EUOF) is high for diesel power stations due to aging and
the high frequency of the technical problems, where most of
the stations have reached its operating life. Since Sabah is
facing the issue of reliable electricity supply, the stoppage for
maintenance is rather hard.
Performance of Transmission
PENINSULAR MALAYSIA In the duration of 2011 to 2014,
the Delivery Point Unreliability Index (DePUI) or the minutes (by
calendar year) of the national grid has shown a decline trend of
64% from 0.86 minutes in 2011 to 0.31 minutes in 2014. Overall,
the performance of the system minutes for the national grid
in 2014 was on a good level and does not exceed the target
of 1 minute. In 2014, there was one (1) tripping reported in the
transmission system on the Peninsula with the loss of load
of 50 MW and above, compared to two (2) incidents in 2013.
Since the number of trippings in 2014 and 2013 only differs by
1 incident, the performance of the transmission system remain
unchanged. However, there was one (1) load loss incident
reported on May 7, 2014 as compared to nil in 2013. These
incidents involved load loss in six (6) states in the Peninsular,
namely Kedah, Perak, Penang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and
Johor.
SABAH Minutes of the system in Sabah had increased
significantly by 161.09 minutes compared to 26.65 minutes in
2013. This is worse than 2013 as well as above the target of
20 minutes. In 2014, there were five tripping incidents which
cause the load loss of above 50 MW. The biggest incident
occurred on May 23, 2014 with a loss of 287.81 MW load and the
unsupplied energy of 378,603 MWh and accounted for 25.03
minutes on the state system. The incident was caused by the
tripping at both ends of 275 kV Kolopis - Segaliud (line number
one and two) due to lightning and lead to power outages to
areas in the east coast of Sabah.
